Ben Randall turned our property around - having made previous attempts to sell our flat with other agents, when Ben came on board, he applied his naturally positive outlook and an attention to detail to selling the property whilst listening to our needs as customers. He never flinched from the primary objective (to sell the property at a mutually agreed level) and to go the extra mile in achieving that. His personal integrity and authenticity came through every engagement that we had with him, leaving us in no doubt that he would succeed - which he did. We are grateful to him for his attitude, friendliness and ultimately success.

We negotiated the fees at a level that we felt comfortable with on a success case only. The fee negotiated was competitive and commensurate with the effort applied by the agent to meet our requirement, representing excellent value for money.

I would highly recommend Riverhomes for any waterside property sales. They were professional from start to finish, treating my property and the sales process with respect and care. We had a great experience using River Homes who we found very professional and took great pride in giving excellent customer service. Potential buyers were well vetted before viewing our Boat Naughty Lass Too and Henry Day was especially helpful in personally accompanying buyers and sorting out all associated issues which lead to a smooth transfer of ownership at the price agreeable to both us and our new buyer. We visited their Teddington Branch several times to sign the Bill of Sale and other required documents and each time we were very well supported but all staff working there. My perception is that it is an interesting time in the property sales market. We have new well-funded internet only agents challenging the status quo.
We tried three. Result – fine to advertise a property, a waste of money when it comes to selling. Actually, we had complaints from potential buyers about the lack of service, and difficulty dealing with them.
So, reverted to traditional agents. River homes was our second attempt to use a traditional agent as they are specialists in riverside property. We found them to be honest – with us and with potential buyers, which is good. They worked diligently on the sale, communicated well with ourselves and potential buyers. When we did get a serious offer the work really started. Henry negotiated, shared information, communicated effectively and quickly, even though the buyer was in Asia. When we hit any issues, Henry resolved them, even picking up some of the costs. When Henry was out of the office, Ian backed him up fully with help from Emily.
I had not realised just how much work is needed from offer to completion – huge amounts and the team did an excellent job – with the desired result – a sale that completed with no surprises.
Equally significant was the advice received about the process and the continual updates, keeping us fully informed in a very prompt manner.
Professional, responsive and communicated every step of the process.
Recommend this team and they have our thanks.
