We are part way through our buying of a property through Jan Foster and Belle and Karen and the rest of the team have bene extremely helpful, attentive and supportive. We are first time buyers and Jan Fosters have kept in touch with us during our searches: sending us properties right for us and even having a personal touch to know what we may go for. Now we have found our home they have continued their professional and personal touch with calls and correspondence to keep up updated but also keeping the vendor aware of our position so everyone is happily moving forward. Would highly recommend Belle and the Team at Jan Foster for your move.

As a landlord I've used Jan Forster for a number of years now and on the whole the service is satisfactory but a few significant points give cause for concern, eg giving keys to a gas engineer to enter the home without telling the tenant. Excessive builder / cleaner fees, only ever offering 1 quote for works to be carried out.
The latest which has prompted me to write the review is relating to non receipt of monthly accounts. Despite receiving emails from many of the JF team it became clear while preparing my 2017-18 Tax Assessment that I wasn't receiving the monthly accounts statement to the same email address. Following beleaguered and labored email discussions with the accounts team/manager I've been notified that it's my fault that they failed the be sent as I'd not raised the matter previously!? And that I should now pay them over and above the monthly management fee to recover the accounts which they hadn't sent. Echoes of the infamous Ryanair customer service approach me thinks!

I don't think I have ever wrote an online review but I was compelled to after the Stella service received from Jody whilst purchasing my first property. The only minor thing (and it is minor) is that when Jody was off, other people from the office would try and assist, when in reality most things could have waited for Jody to return.

We found all the staff at Jan Forster all very helpful during the sale of our property. They gave us sound advice regarding what to do and what not to do in the run up to the property going up for sale.
They kept us up to date on a regular basis. The staff were very pro-active when our first buyer pulled out, and found us another buyer within an hour.
Overall we are very pleased with the service we have received from all the staff we have had dealings with.
