I have used Lex Allen letting services for ten years. The staff have always been so helpful and informative. I have had excellent tenants their fees have been reasonable and competitive. I have also sold two properties through them and each time they were very efficient and the sales went through quickly. I would highly recommend them if you are considering either letting or selling.
The fees are reasonable, good value and competitive in the market.

Me and my partner let a house through Lex Allan and I will not be renting from this agency EVER AGAIN. Poor and misleading inventory, poor service where staff were completely incompetent. They should have been more helpful, communitative, and a lot less ignorant and lazy. They were dismissive and rude and took money out of my account even when we had left, and tried to say if was my fault. Disgusting.

I was a tenant with lex Allan for 2 years and would rather live in a cardboard box than use them again. We had a brand new flat, so new that when we viewed it, it was still being built! Once we moved in, it took lex Allan 9 months to provide is with keys to our balcony doors and letterbox. We had damp to the point of mould and mushrooms growing in our bedroom and bathroom. We complained many many times, we involved a building surveyor, we included a health inspector and still had no response what so ever from lex Allan! We came home one day to find our door open and our flat trashed, I then noticed a \'repair\' sticker on our boiler, I rang lex Allan who told me they had given our keys to a contractor to service our boiler! Our contract stated they needs to give 48 hours written notice to access our flat, not just hand keys out! As soon as we could we left, it was horrendous. DO NOT USE LEX ALLAN!!!!!!

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
