I will be reporting them to the property ombudsman.
Also being asked to delete this review three times in a conversation with the , blathering branch manager, who admitted that the first review was in fact factual, is shocking.
The manager, who has the sales acumen of a hamster, called to inform me that this incompetent girl was unable to do her job properly because she was overworked. It is very clear that Foxtons should have issued a statement on their website informing both buyers and vendors that they would not be able to operate properly within this time between August 2024 and December 2024. If you are a buyer you would not have been able to offer or purchase. Vendors - it appears, in my experience and opinion, that Foxtons neglect to pass offers on or negotiate on your behalf.
The embarrassment of another estate agent’s response when I told them I was dealing with Foxtons, was more proof of their poor reputation.
Now dealing with an infinitely more competent estate agent, who negotiated well their vendor, and am happy to say I have come to the end of the ordeal of having to suffer clowns like Foxtons.
PREVIOUSLY:
Unfortunately the two interactions with Crouch End Foxtons and the same hapless girl have been very disappointing, with either no followup after viewing or a followup after a month!
An offer also wasn't followed up and negotiated.
One star showing us around, but I could subtract stars they would get *MINUS 4 STARS*

The team, and in particular Imogen, were ferocious in ensuring that our chain stayed together by chasing up the solicitors and estate agents involved and, fortunately, the sale went through just over one month after securing the new buyer.
Quite frankly, I cannot imagine another company or branch offering a more professional, responsive service. I would happily use them again (if I still lived in Crouch End!).

I contacted Foxtons Crouch End after a sale which had been agreed on my property through another local agent had fallen through. I felt that the agent involved had mis-handled the sale, resulting in a lot of lost time. As I do not live locally, I called the manager, Miriame who carried out a valuation of the property. From the start of the process I felt that Miriame had a real appreciation of the merits of the property and understood how it needed to be marketed. She had enough confidence in the property and courage of her own convictions to suggest marketing at a figure 10% higher than the previous agent. After a few weeks, one of the negotiators, Kate put forward an excellent offer from a first time buyer, which we were delighted to accept. There were a few delays and complications during the conveyancing process, due in part to the inexperience of the buyer. At every bump in the road, Kate and Miriame were able to skilfully manage the situation. It was really refreshing to deal with proactive agents, able to anticipate potential problems and take the initiative to get the sale through. I had an excellent experience with the Crouch End team and I would not hesitate to instruct or recommend Foxtons in the future.

Even after a reduction, we achieved a higher price than I had imagined and therefore the ROI can be seen as a success. Both girls represented Foxtons as the most thorough and rigorous on the ground marketers in the country, but with a smile and a friendly way. This is rare. I would recommend the branch and particularly the individuals to anyone wishing to sell in North London.

I had a very good experience dealing with Foxtons' Crouch End branch and with Vikki and Kate in particular. I initially contacted Miriame about the sale of my property whilst I was abroad. She kept in touch so I decided to appoint Foxtons and I wasn't disappointed.
I found both Imogen and Miriame were very efficient, professional, understanding and friendly. They answered all my questions and were very supportive and practical when my first sale fell through. They made the who experience stress free and I can't thank them enough.

Ms Harrison-Broadley showed me a large number of flats in Crouch End, Stroud Green, Highgate and Muswell Hill over the course of several months. She found out to her cost what a difficult customer I was: insistent on finding just the right property, unwilling to compromise and not caring how long it took. She never once showed any sign of impatience and was unfailingly helpful and positive, as well as being knowledgeable and totally professional. She really made a difference. I have dealt with many estate agents and she is definitely one of the best. As for the branch in Crouch End, it was always a pleasant experience to go in there. Everyone was always very helpful.

Miriame is a highly professional, likeable and accommodating individual where nothing was too much for her. In fact I can truly say that in my opinion Miriame was and is worth every penny. I am very happy with her work.
This is the first time I've sold a property and although I gained my first valuation from Foxtons, I then decided to appoint a different agent simply because the other company were cheaper. Miriame still kept in touch though, and when the other company didn't manage to sell my property Miriame was ready to jump in to action immediately and that's exactly what she did. She already had potential buyers lined up very quickly and she went on to sell my property for the full asking price.
I was and still do feel very happy with her work. She always managed to get back to me very quickly in responding to my questions, queries and concerns, and believe me I had many of these and contacted her sometimes over five times a day.
As I said before nothing was too much for her and in having the cheaper company to compare her work with, all I can say now is that although Foxtons costs are higher than some of the other agents, there is literally no comparison as the service I received from Miriam and every one of her colleagues is in my opinion THE BEST.
I also wish to add that the office is also another area where top service was provided. I can truly say that in my opinion every member of staff I came across there worked not only very hard, but with a high professional manner, all managed by Miriame whom I would recommend to anyone selling or indeed buying property. I WILL BE USING FOXTONS AGAIN when I go on to buy another property and although I will not be using the same area, I'm hoping the staff are all as professional and as helpful as Miriame who is in my opinion she's worth every penny if not more.
