Very poor customer service. They wasted our time and money. We had to call them several times and ask to speak to the manager only to find out that the current tenant had cancelled the viewing. The manager just informed us of the cancellation and offered a token apology. I would not recommend RentLocally to anyone - they simply don't care about their customers. My partner and I had an extremely unpleasant experience with RentLocally today. We booked a viewing and travelled from Glasgow to West Calder in rush hour traffic and gale force winds only to be stood up their agent. We had to phone the agency three times and speak to a manager to find out that the current tenant did not give permission for us to view the property. The agent had made one attempt to contact us 20 minutes before the scheduled viewing from a private number which we could not call back.

I was interested in renting a flat from the agency but the service I received resulted in me leaving without even seeing the flat. The lady on the phone was fairy polite however could not tell me when I can view the property. When I finally reached the person who was viewing the flat I was only given one option, 2pm on Tuesday, which I normally work but as no other times or days were available I agreed to see the flat at that time. I called them the same day to confirm I'll be there at 2 and run to see the flat on my lunch break. The agent never showed up and I waited for almost 40 minutes. I tried to call the agency and the agent but no answer whatsoever. Complete waste of time and no respect to potential customers! I finally left without seeing the flat and will never call them again!!!

WARNING - DO NOT RENT WITH THIS AGENCY!!! I recently moved out of a rental flat I had with Rent Locally, and they deducted a £200 cleaning bill from my deposit, which I am still trying to get back from them. The flat was in a poor condition when I moved in, and I can safely say I left the property in a much cleaner state than I got it in. When I asked for a breakdown of the bill, they said there was some dust behind the beds, I had swapped the mattresses around on the beds and forgot to move them back, and an oven tray was missing (which they removed themselves when they replaced the cooker). There is no way that this equates to a £200 bill - it would have taken less than 5 minutes to rectify these issues. I have called the office on numerous occasions to try and dispute this issue with them, but nobody will take my call and I have been fobbed off time and again. Effectively they have stolen money from me - Is it not enough that I paid £575 a month rent, and had to make-do without an oven for the first four months?? I just want my £200 back. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!!!
