This agency did nothing for me as a landlord. When the tenancy ended they returned the tenant's deposit in fill , less £29 for locks i had to replace as keys were not returned. Platinum completely ignored the fact that multiple tenants had occupied the house in spite of my saying that this was not to happen. They would not address several things i was unhappy about, with the tenants, and treated me with indifference and rudeness. I would NEVER use them again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone as a property management agent.
They did NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

6 Jun 2015Always disappointing to receive complaints and more so when this is so far from the truth. Often part of the agents role is to advise landlords of their legal responsibilities and to accept the terms of the agreement they have entered into with their tenant. We act for the landlord and sometimes that means stopping the landlord from breaching their obligations and making unreasonable claims. Landlords need to be aware that they are not permitted to visit and enter the house without permission of the tenant who has the right to quiet enjoyment. In this case the tenant on one occasion called the police. The landlord has to accept reasonable where and tear. The tenant is responsible for accidental damage and abuse, not deterioration from normal use. In this case the tenant had returned all the keys that were given according to the photocopy taken at the start of the tenancy and therefore there was no basis to charge. At the end of the tenancy the landlord had decided to change the locks and booked a locksmith for £140 and we assisted by using our in house handyman who charged much less. I believe we worked hard in this case to protect the landlord from further legal action from the tenants and shielded them from considerable stress. Sorry to receive a negative response from the landlord and had thought about asking the tenant to post to give some balance..........but obviously that wouldn't be constructive.

Awful estate agents. Made many false accusations. Had monthly inspections but they still would come randomly without any warning as they had mixed up dates from their end. Terrible organisation, constantly having to repeat ourselves in emails. Good luck getting your deposit back. Avoid these guys... Read Full Review

Please heed what this and all the other reviewers are saying. These are Cowboys and nasty ones at that. As tenants we were given 2 addenda to the Tenancy Agreement by this company which they claimed to be legally binding and had to be signed by the lead tenant on the 2nd day of our tenancy. Failure ... Never ever choose Platinum. They take weeks to sort out any maintenance issues, to answer emails, the phone, to call you back. They don't do their paperwork properly which leaves the opportunity for them to screw you over with your deposit. If you do get any of your deposit back even if it's with... Read Full Review

Avoid these jokers like the plague. They will try and screw every penny that they can out of you. Their house inspections are a farce, they make claims and provide no evidence. I went to the DPS and Arbitration to challenge them and they made false claims, lost the Move In Inventory and submitted... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
