From the outset, I found Nick, and AJR in general, to be genuinely helpful, beginning with the first time I looked around the house I bought. Suggestions on the agent's part were balanced, fair and honest. Such is demonstrated by drawing attention to aspects of the properties we viewed that previously he'd found prospective buyers to be concerned about. I found this honesty very helpful in ultimately choosing the right property, as it gave me more trustworthy information to work with, allowing me to make a more informed decision. Once the offer was made, I continued to recieve balanced advice regarding recommendations for solicitors and financial advice; advice was always accompanied with a clear justification for the advice being given. This helped me achieve my primary objective of hastening the pace of the deal. Throughout, communication was good aside from a single computer issue at the agent's end which lasted a couple of days. This applies to communication between myself and the agent, and also to communications between the agent and the solicitors and financial advisor. The fact that all are close to each other and maintain good working relationships is an enormous (and not outwardly apparent) help. The agent also found time to take me round the house during the buying process, to make it easier for me to plan moving in. Possible negative criticisms are few; it would have helped enormously to have been able to have phone availability with the agent's office for a couple of hours on a Sunday, as weekends were in my case the only time I could easily make arrangements due to my working week. It was difficult finding the office as it was not well marked from the outside. Viewing slots would also benefit from being 5 minutes longer, as I found that I had five minutes less to go round a property than was comfortable, and even rushing a little the schedule of four consecutive viewings we had needed to be cut short so that the agent could make the next appointment on time. All in all, the performance was almost as good as it is possible to get. I would recommend AJR as an agent to buy and sell through.

We arranged a viewing for a house we really liked (to rent) and informed the agent we were travelling from London to view it. 45 minutes before we arrived in Loughborough, the agent called us to cancel the viewing. A message was left with no apology, just stating that the property was no longer available and that the viewing was cancelled. I called the agent, who explained that an application had gone through on the property and that the landlord had decided to cancel any further viewings. It was clear that this application had been made earlier in the week. Other agents informed us when applications had been put in, and had advised us not to travel so far to view a property if there was a slim chance of getting it. Aidan Reed did not. The person on the phone did not apologize and was rude and very dismissive. I was so upset at the way we were treated and spoken to that I just had to hang up. I hope for their sake, that others treat them better than the way they have treated us. I'm grateful in a way, that I found out how they treat customers now before I handed over any money and signed a contract with them. I would not recommend this estate agent to anyone else, and I will not be taking up any properties they have to offer.

Nick and the team kept me informed throughout our purchase and at times went above and beyond what we expected in order to make sure we acheived the purchase in the timescale required.
I personally felt that Nick was genuinely interested in talking through the issues that came up and was honest and forthcoming with information wherever possible. This is a huge contrast to how i held felt during the sale of our house with a different agent.
I would reccommend Nick and the team at Aiden J Reed without hesitation and will be using there services for any further sales or purchases i'm involved in.

Right from the start they were very positive about the saleability of the house and their ability to get a buyer quickly. The photos were fantastic. It sold within a week at the asking price. The real value was when the chain of 5 developed problems at the bottom. Nick Hall kept on top of it all and negotiated throughout the chain, holding everything together. Without his help I'm sure it would all have fallen through. The other Estate Agents in the chain weren't a patch on AJR.

I sold my own property through Aiden reed estate agents as well as purchasing my new property. Richard harrison viewed my house and was very courteous and prompt during his visit. I was happy with the way my property was marketed and we had a lot of interest pretty quickly. I purchased my new property which was finalised with nick hall who was readily available at anytime if I had a query or needed an answer. He always phoned me back when required and made the final stages of the purchase as smooth as could be. So thank you Aiden Reed estate agents for all your help and I will definetly be recommending you to others.

An offer came through within the first couple of weeks and we had agreed a sale soon after which was great. At the same time we had an offer accepted on another property and Nick Hall walked us through the buying process and was most helpful and reassuring, especially as this was our first ever move! Nick advised us who was expected to do what and had a great knowledge of what the solicitors should do and and when and what we should expect and in what order. I would recommend using Aiden J Reed as they made the daunting task of buying and selling a home seem like a breeze.
