NO STARS we met with jay and was told they was having new approach due to past history being poor .WELL no change there There management for rental is appalling they take your monthly fee and do nothing .Never answer phone do not get in touch disgusting no reports had to keep asking got them at end of tenancywhat a suprise stste of house disgusting .I would have to go in and say the house was looking untidy unkept no windows open no curtains open ,grass 2 foot high at front .Did they go round no .At end of tenancy rang to say the house was in a state what a suprise Valentoino said they seemed tidy and ok when he met them ??never checked after .Was suprised Jay could tear himself away from his mobile because every time went in he sat playing with mobile.I would not recomend them to anybody the service is disgusting they getting paid for sitting office playing on mobile main phone on silent with light flashing to say call but did not answer TWo of them so one could have answered but no.

Just awful - potential tenant Terrible communication, always chasing them We were unable to view said property while someone else was making their mind up regarding a holding deposit. We booked a second viewing wrongly assuming the same rules would apply to us. After chasing 4 times today to confirm our second viewing on Sunday (already arranged) to check measurements, I am told it was let today. Disgusted as if I had known the same rules would not apply I would have put a holding deposit down. Property also in need of several issues resolving which we were told the LL would inform on but nothing received which also delayed our holding deposit. Extremely disappointed and will be speaking to Head Office, not that the branch seem concerned by this.

Just shocking. We rented a property for 2 years, during which time SQ failed to deal with issues (they just kept saying they had told the landlord) - we had a window that was wide open throughout our entire tenancy. Just shocking. We rented a property for 2 years, during which time SQ failed to deal with issues (they just kept saying they had told the landlord) - we had a window that was wide open throughout our entire tenancy. There were illegal electrics in the property, which resulted in a socket setting on fire. We left the property more than 3 weeks ago, having always paid rent on time and in full. We received a letter from a debt agent yesterday saying we were in arrears - because SQ had not properly ended our tenancy. We are applying for a mortgage and this could have ruined our chances. They are unhelpful, money-grabbing and I would wholeheartedly recommend you stay well away from the Shylocks.

Beware of the disgusting tactics used to get additional commission on sales, these people know no limits in being deceitful regarding costs and will not even allow you to make an offer to vendors without seeing their mortgage consultant (who doesn't even appear on the FCA Register) only to be charged �600 for a service I did not require, they also insist that you use their conveyancing team and that the leaflets showing costs are fixed which is also a lie. The conveyancing team charge double for property searches, additional costs for checking ID, dealing with mortgage lenders and the list go's on.
Absolutely appalled that there are people willing to lower themselves to be so deceitful in order to take money of hard working customers in this way. I'll be reporting Sharman Quinney/ Connells to every single governing body as well as trading standards in order that they change their practices and start putting their customers first, become a reputable estate agents or be shut down!!!
