Customers thinking about appointing an estate agent should be VERY wary of ravensworth, Paul is a typical salesman and is dishonest. I disappointed one estate agent to appoint ravensworth in their place, paul never told me that he adds a fee if he cant sell the house. I have sold 6 houses in my time and have moved around estate agents, but i have never been charged a cancelation fee before. I would have expected a reputable company to be transparent with their customers not hide behind small print in a contract.

So if you are going to appoint an estate agent in this area I would ask them directly the hidden fees also go with someone else not ravensworth estate agents they are not to be trusted.

What agent could do to change your mind?
they just need to do their job-arrange viewings, call people back, get the best price for a house they are selling

I requested a viewing at a property, they said they had a few people interested and would call back when they had arranged access.
Took my details and position-cash buyer.
Didn't call back
so I called the next day.
They had access the next day but I couldn't attend as now too short notice
I asked if I could be informed of future availability
Told none arranged as they have 3 viewing they are expecting an offer....
Really!?!
Firstly, surely the seller would want the best price from buyers in the best position, best way to do that to get more than one cash buyer to offer and get best prices
I certainly wouldn't want them selling my property knowing they can't be bothered to make viewings to get as many people as possible bidding.
I hope not to have to see a property with them again or call them... Telephone manor is terrible too!
