Property People sold my property in South Belfast. From the beginning they were very professional and couldn't be more helpful. They took away all the stress from selling my house and gave regular updates on viewings and bidding. In the end they achieved considerably more than the asking price like they promised when they first came out to do the valuation. Highly recommend.

Excellent Agency..... Used Property People to short term rent a house. Jarlath & all the staff at the South Belfast branch are a great group of people. They were exceptionally helpful at move in & sorting out any issues throughout the year in a prompt manner. A very professional service on handback also making sure both tenant & landlord happy. I want to say a massive thanks to Emma from the Ormeau Road branch for all her assistance in helping to get mine and all my housemates full deposits back, which we were rightfully owed. The room I rented looked ok at first but it soon became apparant there were many problems when I moved in, mainly that the room was not worth the £340 due to how paper-thin the walls were (house was a comlete patch-up job with no modern renovations in God knows how many years), only one small fridge for 7 people with Property People ignoring requests for another fridge on a regular basis, and many other issues which would take too long for me to even mention.
I was told there was only one other student in the house during the viewing as I specifically asked because wanted to be living with other professionals working and not noisy students, the letting agent told me there was only one other student in the house, as it turned out, 4 of the house mates were students! Blatant lies from the get go!
Every other person in the house had all experienced letting agents being rude, unhelpful, cheeky and at times aggressive (I was the eldest in the house and working full-time so had little contact unless email, the rest were either students, international or both and I'd heard before that they treat students and foreigners terribly)
Generally they never got back about problems with the house were something needed fixing, and the house I was in had regular issues due to being so old and how little effort was put into actually 'fixing' issues that needed attention in the past.
To be fair, I had an issue with a housemate below me who was making noise up until all hours which when I put in a strong complaint, they had a word with this person and the noise did reduce...this is about the only plus and I believe they only helped me because I was so forthcoming and and angry about the situation, it took a lot of stress on my part to complain to them and actually get a result.
I would avoid this crowd at all costs, there are many options available in Belfast at more reasonably priced rates with way more helpful landlords, as a rule in Belfast, I would avoid letting agents altogether and go with a private landlord, Northern Ireland in my experience has the worst letting agent companies around and I have lived all over the UK and abroad.

We were very unhappy with our stay and would not recommend Property People services for lettings.
- When we moved to the house lights were broken and were told it would be fixed the day after but they never were.
- Our room was very dirty when we arrived on our first day.
- The cleaning service for the shared areas was supposed to happen every week, but in 4 months they came about 3 times.
- Although we paid our deposit and first month rent on the day we moved, weeks later were informed that they still had not get our payment. We provided all the receipts and information required but staff took a long time to solve a situation that should have been checked since the beginning.
- When the boiler got broken, they took about 2-3 days to fix it.
- We approached the agency about problems with other subtenants, but they were never solved.
- The house was really old and badly preserved.
- We were not informed when we moved how the trash would work. When there were problems with the trash, we ended up having to pay a fine for something that we didn't do.
- The inspection after leaving the house took place about a week later we left.
- We were never informed when we would get our deposit returned and were not informed about the deductions that were made, which we were supposed to be informed straight after we moved.
- The deduction was related to the trash problem we had already paid for.
