Only putting a star because I have to otherwise it would be a minus. I never give reviews but i concur with what others have said on their reviews here. I horrified and upset by the treatment I have received but an agent that I believed to be respectable. Currently trying to get my tenancy deposit back. Had to pay £500+ legal fees for landlord to come out of tenancy early. Not invoice breakdown for what I've paid. Had to end tenancy as 3 x in 6 months major water leaks in the property which was significantly affecting my health and worsening my asthma. Moved out of the property and agreed to pay the rent until new tenant found but also allowed landlord to have works done on property which were desperately needed but now I have been presented with further demands for cleaning and repairs which are nothing to do with me. Very stressful and agents not forecoming with any responses that can move the situation forward. Seriously would avoid if possible but very difficult in this hideous housing market.

We rent with Pearsons in Fareham and we had a terrible start with them. Customer service was non existent. They took a huge amount of cash for this, that and the other (thankfully to new laws we were refunded nearly £1000). Told to pay £30 for an inventory if I wanted one or print myself (having just moved and waiting for deliveries I did not have printer to hand) ?! I have always received a copy with a rental and their service was the most expensive I have had to pay for and 3 rentals were in central London. We had a 9.5 hour journey due to traffic jams and arrived at 5.55 pm just in time to get keys. Phoned to let them know maybe a bit late. And had called 2 weeks prior to say we were concerned about the journey time could someone be made aware. Absolutely not?! The stress of moving with them was awful. My last rental we had similar problems moving south to north and the guy had a kettle, teabags and milk and biscuits and came to greet us at property when we arrived. No stress. He was only a cheap company. That is service! Will not rent through Pearsons again. For time being I am tied into contract.
