I own a property and was looking to rent it out for the first time so was totally unsure of the process and what was involved. Norgan's came highly recommended via a friend who rents out several properies with Norgan's and I have to say I have not been disappointed. I don't live near to my rented property so Norgan's manage everything for me. My first tenants were found within days of advertising and my second tenants have now just moved in and were found just as promptly which for a landlord is a massive relief. No one wants an empty property. They have taken the stress out of being a landlord and have always been on hand with help and advice or the necessary person to fix somethng within the property promptly at the convenience of the tenant. Thank you.

I originally bought my house through Norgans so they were the obvious first choice when I decided to let it. Gemma and a colleague turned up to photograph it but forgot the memory card for their camera so had to return to their office to get it. This meant their visit was very rushed and they didn't even take a photo of the outside of the house - I had to email them one.
I had saved the Rightmove entry from when I bought so was able to provide them a complete description including room dimensions. All they had to do was cut and paste but apparently that was too much effort because the description they created was just a couple of sentences. When I queries this I was told that letting is different from selling and they don't bother with full descriptions! So I reluctantly said to give it a try and see what happens ... And heard no more for a week. After that time had passed I called Pam Dewhurst at Country Properties who provided a much better service (see review 57433219/). Strangely enough Norgans finally got around to listing my property the day after Country Properties' listing appeared on Rightmove - but by then we already had a tenant.
The final straw was Gemma claiming she had listed it earlier and blaming the computer system for it not appearing. I work in IT and hate it when people blame computers for their own failings! If what she claimed was true then she obviously didn't bother to check that the listing had appeared.
All in all a mediocre lettings service but, to be fair, the branch in Codicote who sold my previous house were excellent so I guess it all depends on who you deal with.
