Hi Rob, It was a surprise to read your review this morning however after some investigating I soon realised you may have the wrong branch and wrong company completely. We are Lovett Estate Agents based in Bournemouth and have no association with Lovett&Co which is located in Lichfield. I have never in my life dealt with such a bad company. They take your holding deposit (£495 in my case) and then you can forget about things being done. They do inhouse referencing that you have to chase and chase and chase, they don't keep ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
She could have at least returned my calls just once and offered to return my deposit. Charlotte told me my holding deposit would be returned should the landlord not be happy without references as I was honest about my references and offered to pay the rent in full.

The holding fee was in my humble opinion very high, certainly if you consider all Charlotte had to do was make one phone call to the landlord explaining my situation that I had no references but was prepared to pay up front.
