I am an investor and I only have one project at a time running so efficiency is paramount. I had already seen the agent that sold me the house but wanted a 2nd opinion. Steve came in with a figure higher and so I thought I would give him a shot. Within 2 weeks he had got me an offer very close to the asking price and as much as Douglas Allen charged a little more , I ended up around £7500 better off. I was astounded by the amount of viewings they generated and on one Friday I had an email confirming 26 viewings for their open house event scheduled for the following day. Once sold it was a fairly smooth process and I know Keith worked hard to speed things up so thankyou. I deal with a lot of agents in my field of work but if ever I buy again in Woodford then Douglas Allen will get my business .

He was very passionate about his job to say the least and I agreed to instruct him even though I had another agent due in the following morning. Within half an hour of him leaving I had a call from Khaleesha (one of his agents ) who booked a viewing that evening. The viewer liked the property and came again on the following day. Whilst at the property he offered and I must admit I was tempted to accept as I needed to sell. Steve got involved and within the hour he had got me an increase of £10,000 ! Funnily enough while all this was going on the other agent came around and when I told him what had happened he looked totally defeated and even congratulated Douglas Allen!

I am the sort of person that never writes reviews, however in this instance I feel that I am obliged to. As the service I have received so far has been outstanding. I walked into your woodford green branch earlier this week, I was in their for about 30-45 minutes (this is the longest I have ever been in a estate agents). I spoke to a young man called Chris who was very friendly and really listened to what I had to say. My current position is that I work for a construction company and we buy around 10 houses per year, based on the high volume of properties and work load it can be very hard for me to actively look for properties. Chris said to me that it was his job to find the best properties for me and he mentioned to me about becoming a preferred buyer so he can work for me. I found that overall this service will really benefit me and I was never mentioned this when I went to other agents. Also Chris introduced me to his colleague a young lady I can't remember her name begins with a (K) she was also very enthusiastic and they both genuinely want to help. I will definitely be working with douglas allen in the future as I have had a very positive experience and a personable one too! Thanks guys!

When I originally put my house on the market I didn't have Douglas Allen around, I had my 3 bed house on the the market for 7 weeks with Bairstow Eve's and had a few viewings here and there but no offers. I noticed that there was a Douglas Allen sold went up in a road opposite mine, so rung them up, within the first 2 minutes of talking on the phone to Robin at Douglas Allen I found him very helpful and he assured that he would do everything he can to help me with my move, he came round the same day and arranged for an open house. We had 3 offers on the back of that and ended up accepting one. He also helped me negotiate on the flat I was buying. I would be happy to recommend Douglas Allen to anyone now.

We found Douglas Allen Woodford to be very professional and efficient in their dealings with us. Khaleesha was our main agency contact and I found her particularly friendly and personable. She took the time to hand deliver initial paperwork and really listened to our requirements for our next property. She understood what we were looking for and only contacted us with properties that would be of interest. She never hounded or pressured us to view unsuitable properties. We were impressed with the volume of people Douglas Allen arranged to view our property - especially on the day of the open house. Not only did they enable us to sell our house within two weeks, they also found us our next property within one month!

I recently sold my flat and I have to say that Douglas Allen got me a fantastic price. I had my property valued and had not put it on the market. I then got a call from Steve who said he had a potential buyer who would be perfect for me. I'm sure a lot of agents say this but Steve said he would send this person around as a taster of their service and within 2 days I had a buyer. He got me £15,000 more than I was expecting based on what the agents had shown me as evidence which proves that you really need to look at what type of package they offer .i also bought through Douglas Allen as they really seem to know what they are doing. Khaleesha was brilliant too and she was more than just professional when showing the buyer around , she went out of her way to help us.This was the most stress free experience I have had in property and I will never use another agent based on my experience

I recently tried selling my home with Douglas Allen in woodford green, Steve ford valued my property and gave it all the talk and I guess that I got sucked in to this and gave him a chance, big mistake he had nothing to back up the talk , I had viewers who often didn't turn up , the agent didn't call me to let me know so I wasted lots of time , I rarely got my calls returned and considering Douglas Allen are much dearer than other firms I would have expected a lot more. There are much cheaper and more efficient agents in the area.

DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS AGENT, they are a joke, they never return calls, I called on 5 seperate occasions to view a property with them and was promised calls back which were never recieved. I have my mortgage agreed and a fairly good sized budget yet they didn't seem to want to deal with me, Steve the manager is rude and obnoxious and is not someone I would trust to sell my property in the future, I ended up buying through another agent who were far more helpful and actually returned my calls.

Steve then went out of his way to do some research on my street even though his branch didn't cover my area. My remortgage sailed through and they both made the whole thing simple and smooth. I have since told a few of my friends to contact them as I was so impressed with how they treated me.

We had been looking for a new home for the last two years however not had much luck viewing good quality properties and getting our foot through the door early enough for us to put in a offer until we met up with Khaleesha Loveday from Dougles Allen in Woodford Green.
Khaleesha advised us on how to get added to their preferred buyers list which allowed us to get early access to view properties before these were available to other buyers. Khaleesha was proactive at identifying properties that only met our requirements (good schools and local to the tube station), provided property details promptly and organised early viewing slots (we were often the first person to see the property, even before the board was up) which allowed us to make an offer on our current property.
Khaleesha was very good at keeping us updated on sale progress and liaising with the vendor was smooth and mostly a pleasant experience.
Overall I would highly recommend Khaleesha to anyone seriously looking to buy a property.
