I received an email on holiday stating that since they had not received any indication that I was choosing to stay in the property & my tenancy was coming to an end, they were serving a final notice. This was in August, I had signed & paid for a further 12 month contract to be drawn up in April. No information was passed to me that the landlord hadn't signed it & I was now on a rolling monthly contract. It was very distressing to find that I had to find somewhere else to live, pack up & leave when I thought there was a chance that I might actually buy the property. Unprofessional, uninterested, unorganised & undeserving of my time to write a negative review so please don't use this company.

My son has spent 10 years in Newcastle. He vacated his flat on 6th August 2016 and at the beginning of November had still not received his allocated DPS, despite having e-mails stating there was no issue in sending it to him from Vanessa dated 22nd September. He received an e-mail later on in September stating it had been banked into the Landlords account. Obviously not his issue and with a company that specialised with rentals, rather incredible that they can not find money to rectify their mistake to with hold professional dignity! He continued to e-mail and phone, receiving little response to his e-mails. This added to the frustration as he lived in Australia, and after several phone calls to UK to try and retrieve what was his, the money came in stages but to date not complete. This service was unprofessional, frustrating and timely. In view of other comments on the company it appears this is not a first. Alison Pratt the CEO needs to be informed of this substandard service. Newcastle and Durham students who are looking at leaving home for the first time need to be made aware of this issue. This service will be fed back to the Vice Chancellor of Durham whom my son has been requested to contact regards his stay as a student in this area
