If you want to be black mailed, lied to and gazumped then this is the estate agents for you! Absolute joke of a company! Waste of time, they tell you they'll call you back and they never do, they try to force you to pay their arrogant financial adviser £600 for financial services even when you've got a Mortgage in principle - they make out this is the vendors decision when we all know it's there's so they get more money out of you! Lol rnPathetic company! No morals! Don't list your property for sale with this company! They'll turn down people from viewing just because they haven't been to see their financial advisor! SELLERS AND BUYERS BEWARE!!

Connells rented me out the house that was not fit for purpose from total rewire of the house to floorboards disintegrating hidden underneath carpet where a Childs bed lay.
Connells deserves no stars.
10 months in we have dealt with so many problems.
I am a tenant that look s after her homes and I always pay my rent,
We will not be continuing a tenancy with connells.
Advice anybody thinking of renting from connells to check the house FULLY. Demand to see electrical check certification. Gas one too. Check the structure of the house coz I can asure you Connells's won't but they're will happily take your money

I have encountered a lot of problems/faults with my property after moving in, some of these issues are resolved on the same day others have taken too long but this isn't a fault of Connells, the length of time my repairs have taken is due to the landlord not wanting to put their hand in their own pocket. Now I have practically been on their case for months (connells) regarding this and that but two big things in particular.
Claire in rentals has done her upmost and succeeded finally in the repairs i needed. Yes, They certainly should not have taken so long or been questioned to start with but the blame isn't with Connells they've done everything in their power. It's just a shame tenants have to suffer when a landlord doesn't want to repair.
The whole process of moving in was relatively easy just a bit of a wait for the checks but I expect that's all estate agents.
When they haven't needed the landlords permission as such (ie Front door jamming, electrical faults etc) The repairs are done almost instantly so I can not faults there normal turn over times.
My only issue at all in my experiences with them is their communication skills, which could be a bit better even if tenants are annoyingly requesting weekly updates to their situations.

When we needed their help to progress the purchase they were just as uninterested. I would not recommend buying through them and as for selling through them, wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
