Clarke Holland, Ashington sent a prospective tenant for a property I was renting. She came with the highest recommendations from the Clarke Holland management. Clarke Holland, Ashington sent a prospective tenant for a property I was renting. She came with the highest recommendations from the Clarke Holland management. What they failed to advise was she had a criminal record as long as your arm. She proceeded to have sex and drug parties for underage boys and after police consultation I had her evicted. Clarke Holland have never re-paid the deposit or accepted any responsibility for the £2000 + damage I was left with after the tenant moved out. She completely trashed the place and Clarke Holland have now admitted it was her mother who had the impeccable references not my tenant. Maybe they should have told me this before she moved in. Be very careful before accepting any tenant from this lot.

I am hoping by posting on this website I might get some response from Clarke Holland as they aren't responding to my emails or phone calls. Customer service as a landlord atrocious, still waiting for damage report on my house despite phone call and multiple emails. Inspections don't seem to be carried out and certainly not 3 monthly which is what I pay for. Had to tell them the current tenants contract had expired a month previously.i presume as they know I am out of the country they figure they don't have to bother as much. Hugely disappointed and would never advise anyone to even think about using this company.

I really want to give a review of how Joanne sorted out my property after the bad experiences of other agents in Ashington.
From the first meeting where I was given a good valuation (that they proved to be correct!), Clarke Holland had my property rented in 3 days and I can't recommend them enough.
I have passed 2 landlord friends of mine to Clarke Holland and they too have had a great service - a real asset to South Northumberland.

After getting a prospective tenant I was told on three different occasions they would let me know what progress was being made, I never received a call so told them to take down there to let notice. After about two weeks I got a call saying the lady definitely wanted to rent my flat and what would I like to do, I said ok she can rent it, upon which I was told she was going on holiday for a week and they would get the ball rolling the day after she got back, that was eight days ago, after getting no phone call after six days I called into there office again to find out what was happening only to be told once again they would get in touch with her and let me know. After waiting again for to days without a phone call I called into the office again only to be told this time that she went home because of family troubles. I have told them not to bother any more and they would not give me a phone number to contact the owner or director. This has been the most disgusting and least professional business I have ever encountered.
