We are property professionals established in Northamptonshire since 1975. Our services cover all aspects of residential property; from lettings and management to sales and buy-to-let investments.
Our lettings division manages over 1250 properties throughout the county, ranging from studio apartments to seven be
droom listed mansions. Our services are differentiated by very high standards of quality and we successfully cater to the needs of a very diverse clientele ranging from first time landlords to professional portfolio landlords and large land owners (including the Althorp Estate). This makes us one of the largest independent letting agents in the UK.
Our credentials, resources and network in the property industry give us a unique position, where we have access to various vendors, applicants and investors. This gives our sales division considerable advantage and enables us to negotiate sales very efficiently. Moreover, our vast portfolio of managed properties allows us to offer some great buy-to-let opportunities to investors.
We have offices in Northampton and Daventry. We are ARLA\/NFOPP members and as such are regulated by their strict code of conduct. We pride ourselves on our customer service and the experience of our qualified team. Majority of our team are qualified to the high NFOPP standard. We are also members of the TDS (so all deposits we hold are protected) and The Property Ombudsman, a well-recognised redress scheme.

A special shoutout to Matthew Chambers, the property manager—he’s been absolutely brilliant. Super professional, quick to respond, and really on top of everything. He made sure the whole process ran smoothly and was always there to help with any questions. Honestly, a real asset to the agency.
Huge thanks as well to Grace Heeley, the Lettings Manager. Her communication and coordination were spoton throughout, and she made what can often be a stressful process feel completely straightforward. You could tell from the start that she really knows her stuff, and her support made a big difference.
And a big thank you to Niall, the engineer, who was not only super knowledgeable but also just really friendly and helpful. He was prompt, thorough, and clearly takes pride in his work—such a rare find these days!
Massive thanks to the whole team making this such a positive experience. It’s been, without a doubt, my smoothest movein ever. I’d recommend this agency in a heartbeat to anyone looking a reliable, toptier property service!

Had a fantastic experience with Chelton Brown dealing with the sale of my property. I have mainly dealt with Georgia and Mario who have been superb from the start. For the price I paid I can't fault their service. I never had to chase them at any time. I was constantly kept up to date at all stages from sale to completion. If any problem came up then Georgia was on it straight away sourcing a solution. My partner sold his house at the same time with another agency at more than double the price and the service he received was not a patch on what mine was from Chelton Brown. Absolutely worth every penny and will thoroughly reccomend. A job well done thank you all.

I do not live near to Northampton, so I needed a comprehensive letting service and had been advised to seek out a local agency rather than go with one of the big "nationals", as I would get more individual attention and more extensive local knowledge. Chelton Brown have ticked all the boxes!
