Called to view a property and was told they would call back. No call back so called again the next day and was told I would certainly get a call back that day. One week on and still no call back. Terrible service. If this is how they treat potential customers I hate to think how they would treat you once you are locked into a contract and they have your money. Food for thought!

Have been looking to find a house in the area. Firstly, near enough every house I enquired about was sold or in the process of exchanging contracts. Why are they still in your sales list and online as though they are still up for sale? Took me a couple of weeks to actually get an appointment to view some houses, kept getting told 'they will get back to me'. I put an offer in on a house, ask ed for some sort of time on when to expect an answer, was told they don't know. Ended up ringing a week later and was told will tell you after the weekend as they haven't heard back. No call after the weekend so rang myself and explained, was then told that I got given the wrong info and she wasn't going to call me. She then asked what house and what offer, told her and she goes it's been rejected we already have higher offers. If you do, then why the hell have you left me waiting for over a week? I found the staff to be rude and just have a very disinterested attitude. Will not be dealing with Aubrey Lee ever again.

In my recent experience Anthony James has provided very poor customer service. On visiting their office in Bristol the staff seemed confused and unsure of what paperwork was needed and of what property I was moving into and which room was available. They were equally confused as to the length of the tenancy (we had to correct the contract ourselves) and which rooms were available to let. They gave me little information, they made no mention of where I could collect the keys and they were unclear as to how I should pay my first installment of rent. They did not inform me where I could collect the keys until I asked them, it took 2 trips to the offices and a phone call to finally track down where I could collect the keys. It became apparent that the previous tenant had sent them to Anthony James as they requested a few weeks previous, Anthony James had then sent them back to another tenant in the house and finally gave me a contact number, should they not have known this in the beginning? They were aware I was coming into their offices those days and I gave them details of where I was moving into but they had no paperwork prepared when I arrived, as a result they were slow, seemed confused, had no information and did very little indeed for all the agency fees I paid to them. Once in the property the other tenants had experiences similar problems to myself and were unsatisfied with the level of service provided and the ongoing service received (such as emergency phone numbers being given and not working resulting in a tenant being locked out for a weekend)
