We request a viewing a house in Llwyn castan Pentwyn and the sales agent Nicola is amazing, at the time of the viewing we met NICOLA and she absolutely helpful and help us to know about the property her service is 5 star. I have few calls with them and always ask for NICOLA as I feel comfortable talking to her, but she wasn't free
Why did I put 1 STAR... I called Allen & Harris to discuss an offer and spoke to Vicki and the conversation that we have I would say I feel that Vicki is telling me off. The tone and they way was communicated is not nice, especially when first time buyer. I called back her and informed that will not continue the service due to experience.

They are good only until you put up your deposit. Once you paid something, they will not care for you anymore, even if the transaction is not complete yet. No response to emails, no updates on the property you are buying, etc. Terribly bad on customer service. So frustrating that they will not deal ... Read Full Review

They are good only until you put up your deposit. Once you paid something, they will not care for you anymore, even if the transaction is not complete yet.
No response to emails, no updates on the property you are buying, etc. Terribly bad on customer service.
So frustrating that they will not deal with you professionally.

I currently rent a property off allen & harris. Sequence UK Ltd are my management company and they have been nothing but amazing! Everything is handled very professionally and promptly. To be fair I had a good impression with a member of staff while he took me for viewing the flat. Once I paid the agency fee, things changed completely.
A month's time between my viewing and the move-in date. During this period things were badly organised. I had to repeat my communications with the agency and chased after them many times. They kept telling me to transfer first-month rent (i.e. their commission) and the deposit to the landlord but I had to chase them several times for bank account details.
Items of furniture negotiated with landlord was difficult but finally seemed to go OK just two days before moving-in (according to Allan & Harris) . On the day of checking-in, no inventory was prepared.
Once I arrived at the property there were no lights. I called the agency immediately, when only 20 minutes before that I got the key from them. Needless to say, no one answered the phone. I left a voice message and they never got back to me.
A few days after moving in, the landlord said he had never agreed on certain furniture items, with proofs from his emails with the agent; while I had a different story with my email proofs with the agent as well. We concluded that the agent was not honest in the communications between us.
Will NOT use this agency ever again, regardless of where I'm moving to in the country.

Worst letting agency I've ever dealt with (moved properties over 5 times in past). Worst letting agency I've ever dealt with (moved properties over 5 times in past). Had to move in later than agreed date as property 'was not ready', advertised as unfurnished but was full of the old tenants broken and dirty furniture, clothing, and kitchen utensils. Window broke due to old frame decomposing from damp 2 months into tenancy and was not fixed for 6 months, poor customer service in regards to the ease and satisfaction of tenants. Left property in great condition yet they took over 3 months to return the deposit. Never again will I give the benefit of the doubt to a letting agency due to this awful experience.

I had an afternoon viewing arranged with 'Gareth' from the Albany Road, Cardiff branch of Allen and Harris. My husband and I waited more than 20 minutes outside the property and nobody turned up. During this time (which was in office hours) I called the branch numerous times and nobody picked up the phone. We were extremely unimpressed at having been left to wait in the January cold and rain, especially as I am 6 months pregnant. The next day my husband went to the branch to complain, only for the joker concerned to shamelessly lie to him, saying that he had called me and left messages, which of course he had not. My husband checked the number they had allegedly called and it was the correct number. I consider myself lucky to have got the measure of this unprofessional outfit before going any further with them. I will avoid them like the plague and urge others to do the same.
