I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Allen & Harris Frome, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others.
Firstly, the communication was abysmal. I was not informed that the buyer had pulled out of the purchase, which caused unnecessary delays and complications. This crucial information was withheld, and it was only through my persistent inquiries that I found out about the buyer's withdrawal. Allen and Harris simply stopped responding to any and all communication.
Additionally, the photos taken of my property were of very poor quality with water marks and blown out colours. Professionalism was sorely lacking in this regard, and it felt as though minimal effort was put into presenting my property well.
Moreover, the manager was unhelpful and displayed a lack of professionalism throughout the process. Any attempts to address my concerns were met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. It was evident that customer service and satisfaction were not priorities.
Overall, my experience with Allen & Harris Frome was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and professional real estate agent.
Avoid at all costs!

When I stated that I would seek legal advice, and leave an appropriate review, I was told not to use 'threatening language'. Avoid at all costs. Appalling company. Appalling attitude. Kate Shipp was incredibly rude. Holly Sturman accused me of using 'threatening language' towards her when I merely stated that I was disappointed and would be contacting their governing bodies because their company is appalling. I stated I would contact a solicitor. They contravene the TDS in respect of the deposit. Absolutely awful. See similar reviews below, especially in respect of attitude.

Avoid. Pressure you into seeing their own broker to get onto a 'favoured list' which is appalling. I appreciate offers need to be verified however it just takes a call to my own broker. I was advised if I saw their broker I could increase my budget, which is a very irresponsible suggestion.
I was also asked if I am moving on my own, because then surely if the house is on the small size it doesn't matter (which is not for an agent to determine). Having phoned around and spoken to residents in locations I am exploring, A&H do not have a good reputation.

I am using Rightmove to carry out properly searches in my area. I have sent many estate agents requests for properties that I am interested in via Rightmoves contact agent option and never have any problems apart from Allen and harris!! Every time I have the misfortune of TRYING to contact this company because of there inadequate adverts it always ends with me.having to phone them because they just can't be bothered to answer there correspondence. If selling a property I would look else where, this company is losing you potential buyers

Unless the property they are offering is perfect for you, I would suggest thinking very carefully before renting or instructing this company.
