I viewed a rental property recently with Think. Before we entered, the problems started. I was told that they had 'forgotten' to book the appointment and they hoped this would be OK as the person currently in the property was working night shifts. I queried why there were no appliances supplied with the property - no fridge even - and was told that this was hassle for the landlord and costs too much - they didn't want to spend anything on the property.They knew nothing about the property at all and didn't even bother apologising to the current tenant who was moving out after just 6 months.
With agents and landlords like that, who can blame them.

I had nothing but problems from day one with this internet property agent who consistently over-promised and under delivered. To the extent of me asking for a refund very early in the process which was refused!! All my room dimensions taken were wrong, I had to draft the entire advert word for word, typo's on right move listing, no for sale board, epc or 3d room plans for weeks on end and constant chasing by myself along with a consistent lack or poor communication from their office. They assign one person to deal with your property and if they are off or at lunch you are stuffed!!!! I have received 2 viewings (in more than 1 month and still waiting for feedback from the first - viewers even knocked on my door as the agent had not got back to them. The answer they had for this was that they had tried to contact (untrue) but as they where not earning £'s in commission like a high street agent they could not be spending lots of time on chasing people!!!! I spent almost £600 on securing their services and yet the text messages sent out to viewers says that I paid only £99 - I wish!!!!

Just want to say thanks to the ithink property team based in Essex. I found them on the net and after paing them £395 they got my property on Rightmove (plus a load of others) and within a week I had 2 viewings and a second viewing a week later and an offer in and accepted.
Very easy and great communication with them, I was even able to call on their mobile after hours which I thought was good.
My sale is going through and even their solicitors are great. So I am happy. Holly

I viewed a rental property recently with Think. Before we entered, the problems started. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
