Winkworth franchisees Lisa and Simon Jacobs have expanded their presence in Salisbury with the acquisition of independent agent Jordan & Mason.

The latest move follows their takeover of the Winkworth Salisbury office franchise in 2023, consolidating their position in Wiltshire, where they also operate the Winkworth office in Marlborough.
The entire team from Jordan & Mason, a wellestablished sales and lettings office in Salisbury the past 20 years, has now moved over to the Winkworth Salisbury office in Castle Street in the medieval cathedral city centre. Salisbury is popular with commuters and attracts many families with its excellent schools, both state and independent.
Lisa Jacobs, a Winkworth franchisee of 14 years standing, said: “We were keen to expand our presence in Salisbury, particularly in lettings. The opportunity to purchase Jordan & Mason came up. Clare and James Jordan, like us, are a husband and wife team so we connected immediately.
“The whole team has moved into the Winkworth office, giving their existing clients complete continuity, and offering the excellent service and ethos Winkworth is renowned . We are very excited to have them on board. This has felt like a very natural fit us and the handover has been enormously helped by James and Clare who have worked closely with us to ensure a seamless transition.”
Simon Jacobs said: “Our lettings presence now has a portfolio of 184 properties. Salisbury has a healthy rentals market. We have a wide range of tenants, from young professionals, to older families and retired people and our properties are as varied. We also handle country house rentals.”
