Avoid at all costs I have been dealing with estate agents I’m for over 30 years and not only have they wasted my time but also my money in the process. They never answered my emails, I constantly had to hound them for any information. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Sellers, if you have a property in Swansea to sell then I'd seriously think of putting it with another agent. I've tried countless times to make an appointment to see three different houses. Sellers, if you have a property in Swansea to sell then I'd seriously think of putting it with another agent. I've tried countless times to make an appointment to see three different houses. This agent takes an average of 4 days to answer an email and around 6 to return a phone call. If you're lucky enough for someone to pick the phone up when you call then don't expect any help trying to find anything you might want to buy.

They are one of the worse companies I ever been. Rent a property through them, every time we had a problem they took ages to reply and I needed to call them five times until someone will do something( simple example we had rats or the shower was not working). They are one of the worse companies I ever been.
Rent a property through them, every time we had a problem they took ages to reply and I needed to call them five times until someone will do something( simple example we had rats or the shower was not working). If they call you to let you know an inspector is coming you can waste all your day that no one will come and they will not even let you know. So unprofessional people, the agency is a massive joke.
Meanwhile you don t complain or don t have any issues everything is fine, otherwise pray to the problem be solve in less than a month.

Everything is fine until they get a deposit (hidden letting fee) from you but after that they don't answer your messages and make it harder for you. Instructed Dawson's to rent my property in Swansea. I sourced a tennant myself who wanted to rent my property but just before signing a lease pulled out. 2 months later I had a debt collection agency phoning me for a fee owed to Dawson's for apparently renting my property. I explained the rental never proceeded. 1 month later again I received a court summons for £2900 I owe Dawson's in fees. I am not fighting them in court as they never found a remnant and my property was never rented. I would avoid this cowboy company at all costs. Untrustworthy and complete scammers. Unprofessional and their agent * swore at me over the phone. Total joke and BEWARE anyone looking to instruct them

The main reason for the poor review is how this agent deals with tenant deposits. Basically, all other agents I've dealt with secure the tenants deposit with the appropriate authority regardless of whether the landlord is on a full management or finders only scheme.
Having not had my deposit returned at the end of tenancy I contacted this agent who seemed to want to wash their hands of the issue saying that it was down to the landlord and not them as it was a finders only agreement. Having paid my deposit at the agents office on their card machine I find this very disappointing behavior. I'm now i the process of chasing my deposit and it is looking ever more likely that it was not registered with an agency as required by law. Whether I will ever see it again remains to be seen!
I personally feel that an agent should do much more to look after a tenants deposit and not simply wash their hands of it when an issue arises. Other agents I have dealt with do not pass the deposit on to the landlord but secure it themselves thus avoiding such issues. I feel that the least Dawson's should do is request proof from the landlord that the deposit has been registered with an appropriate agency so they can pass on such detail to the tenant should an issue arise.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Actually helped my case more and not taken £200 off me which I genuinely didn\'t deserve.

When I moved into the premises the previous tenants had left things like pots and pans (all in good working order), yet when I left they threatened to charge me to remove the items. I was charged with a cigarette burn on the underside of the sofa despite me not smoking and never allowing anyone to smoke in the house. The sofa must have been more than twenty years old and was battered beyond repair, I reported this yet nothing was done about it, I reported mould and damp, yet nothing was done about it.
