She is the perfect go between, connecting you with the agents, aswell as providing the necessary information required whilst they are unavailable.
Alessandro, does a fantastic job managing the office, his busy schedule and staff, yet always making the time, to adhere to every customer query. He is a genuinely good, and kind person, and will go above and beyond to come to the right solution you.
Raberta is a super agent. Multifaceted, able to liaise with her clients, whilst promptly having all the necessary photos and information of each property, at the back of her hand.
She is patient, kind and willing to assist you through the application process, despite her daily hectic schedule of office meetings, daily bookings and viewings, aswell as other adhoc duties. She does her best to find the right property or an alternative solution need be.
I have truly enjoyed my short encounter with each of them, and will recommend them highly.

My experience with Cityrooms has been nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, they have demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and fairness. Dealing with them has been incredibly frustrating, and I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through Cityrooms to steer clear.

Cityrooms operates in a manner that is highly questionable at best. They have repeatedly failed to communicate properly, ignored legitimate concerns, and shown zero accountability for their actions. Rent discrepancies, unclear charges, and a blatant disregard for the tenancy agreement were all recurring issues during my time with them. Even after raising these concerns multiple times, I was met with silence or vague responses.

Most alarming is their handling of the security deposit. Despite multiple breaches on their part, an adjudicator ruled in their favour, awarding them the full deposit. This, in my opinion, speaks to their ability to manipulate the system to their advantage, leaving tenants feeling helpless. Their approach to resolving disputes is not only unfair but also predatory.

Cityrooms clearly prioritises profit over the welfare of their tenants. The entire experience felt like a money-grab, with little regard for the tenants' rights or legal obligations. If you're considering renting with them, save yourself the stress, and look elsewhere. There are many more reliable, transparent, and honest agents out there.

Avoid Cityrooms at all costs – they are a perfect example of how NOT to run a property management company. Deceptive, untrustworthy, and downright shady.

<p>They should go into the minus ⭐. </p><p>So I've been living abroad and when I came back decided to look for a property with City Room amongst other ( I'm from London). My friends are letting agents and let's just say I and the council have dealt with rogue landlords before. These guys are the definition of rogue landlords. Their director has been in trouble for this before. Someone else mentioned this. If you look here you can see he has had multiple companies that are no more (meaning it is easier to lose your money) </p><p> The current company is the one you see operating now as City Rooms. </p><p> I went to view some properties with them. One of them in Acton with 5 people living in it ( households) without I believe HMO licence and any fire safety. This again means that it is not legal. You can imagine after this what happens. </p><p>I went to view another property with them again council. As you can see from their website most of their properties are council/ ex council. This leads me to believe that alot of them are being sublet without the councils knowledge. I have lived in properties where this has happened before and when the agent is busted everyone of course lost their deposits. </p><p>Learn this if you are going to rent in London </p><p>1) This means that the 'contract' that you sign is just a piece of paper because the owner is either unaware that it is being sublet or is aware and will, along with the agent and their staff be prosecuted and fined by the council. </p><p>2) If the company is illegal again your contract is worthless but if they are prosecuted by the council for some reasons you can try to claim back all the rent you paid there. </p><p> If you are reading this and live in one of the properties rented from them I would check with the council if your property is legal because otherwise you are paying rent to noone for nothing and I would get your deposit back asap. </p><p> There are many reviews on here about City rooms keeping peoples deposits with *reasons. I can vouch for this because I put a holding deposit down before I was more informed and they did a referencing check. It failed because of a CCJ. I was not aware they did a credit check as I have rented many times without this. The guy then emailed me saying 'I had changed my mind'. * Listed as a reason to not give back holding deposit. When I said everybody knows that's not true. He then said ' I had given false info' * Another reason listed to not give back holding deposit. Again this is not true. The truth is they take the money and run. Prices for renting in the capital are out of hand right now but the prices they lost for their properties are exorbitant ( they then reduce them). They prey on people coming here and I believe they are also in the fake visa business. I am in the process of getting back my deposit. </p><p>If you rent from them know that you are probably getting a ghost ? for your money ( even if it can be friendly) and your money will be a ghost ?. You will receive a fictitious contract and a fictitious tenency. </p><p>Sidenote, I have witnessed these agents getting chased down by the law. </p><p>This company is bogus.</p>

The most disgustingly dishonest and greedy agency in London. Never ever make the mistake of getting a property through them - I have and I am paying a huge financial cost for doing so.

These people know their properties are rundown and in a state of disrepair - they will entice you to sign a contract with them without telling you how to get out of it (no break clauses!) and they are banking on you paying them money to get out of the contract. They are extremely understaffed with respect to handymen/plumbers/electricians and all they care about is how to squeeze the maximum cash out of you.

I implore you - it is better to be homeless than to rent through City Rooms
