This estate agent ruined a year of my life. Suzy had advertised a property to me as fully 'furnished', something that was not agreed with the landlord thus, this huge mistake led to a lot of inconveniences with financial implications for both myself and my landlord. On my move in date, I walked into a completely empty property in panic that I would have no bed to sleep on at night. When I called Suzy, in front of my husband and the gentleman who inspected the property, she was yelling at me on the phone and calling me a 'princess' for wanting a bed, which she had wrongly advertised. She was incredibly rude and took no responsibility. I had two witnesses to this also. What was worse, is that she was nice during the process, but as soon as she made an error her manner changed and she became rude, unprofessional and obnoxious. It came as a shock to me, the change in attitude and the willingness to do absolutely nothing to help. My husband and I had to go to the Brinkley's office in Wimbledon, very upset, where finally the team there were kindly able to help us with a bed.

I’m glad and excited to be doing this review. Suzy was so committed towards my housing need and she did go extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied. After we experienced a challenge in reaching a conclusion with the Landlord, Suzy was empathic and backed it up with actions by smartly securing me a more beautiful and comfy apartment. She is too kind and was helpful in the whole process and I honestly have been thinking of a way to say thank you more than words. Great communication from both Ben and Amelia - accommodating to our needs and being really quick with replies. They would answer reassure us that they would find the answer and get back to us via email or call. The only recommendation would be that agents need to be completely clued up on what they're showing us - we had to find out for ourselves that the property had a roof terrace, and we have recently found out the building is excluded from parking permits, which would have been nice to find out beforehand and would help if agents knew this information.

Complaints Procedure
We value our client’s feedback and we are committed to providing a professional service at all times. We would like to hear from you should something not go as well as planned. In line with The Property Ombudsman’s Code of Practice, our complaint procedure is outlined below:
In the first instance, please write to our Team: Customer Care, 120 Wimbledon Hill Road, SW19 7QU, alternatively email customercare@brinkleys.co.uk with full details of your complaint. Once your complaint has been received, we will acknowledge receipt within 3-5 working days. Following an internal investigation, you will receive a response to your complaint within 15 working days.
Should you be dissatisfied with our initial response, or the matter remains unresolved, you can escalate your complaint to Managing Director Richard Watt, at richard@brinkleys.co.uk. A final investigation will be undertaken at this point and a response will be sent to you within 15 working days detailing our company’s final viewpoint.
Should you remain dissatisfied with our company’s final viewpoint, you can then refer your case to The Property Ombudsman for their review.
Details of their complaints procedure and form can be found on their website www.tpos.co.uk along with their Code of Practice and Terms of Reference. Alternatively, you can call them on 01722 333 306 or write to them at the following address:
