I live in a property managed by Andrews - they do not deliver on their promise - in actual fact they have stopped all effort to maintain security and even rubbish collection because they say some tenants have not paid their maintenance fee? How does that work? Most of us are paying a lot of money and yet due to a few who are not keeping up with payments, they continue to take our money but cease to offer the service we are all paying for. Please, if you read this, think twice before doing any business with them.

Andrews have left me and my housemates without access to a functioning toilet for over 24 hours 3 times in the course of my tenanacy, once in 2019 (3 days), once in 2020 (3+ days), and once again in 2022 (1+ days) - each time under a different property manager showing this is not because of one bad apple. Access to functional water facilities is a legal requirement that the landlord must provide, and each time Andrews show no urgency nor care to solve this situation. We have recurring issues due to an issue with our drain that requires a bigger fix, not because we mistreat the drain. Not sure what services they're taking a cut of the rent for each month, it's certainly not tenant management or property maintenance. I do not advise prospective landlords trust them with their tenants or money. I do not advise prospective renters trust them with their wellbeing or safety.
Note, when the toilet broke in 2020 the entire office went home for christmas on 23rd december before the issue was resolved which they were very much aware of, leaving us and the contractors in the dark about what to do next. I left answer phone messages nearly in tears to their office and to their maintenace team because I was so stressed that everyone seemed to have left us with no resolution. I couldn't reach a head office, I even tried messaging their main facebook which never got a response. As it was xmas the local cafes we had been relying on were closing and I was toiletless and panicking. Ended up calling and paying for a plumber myself who was more sympathetic than Andrews ever were. Andrews only got back to me on 3rd January - what is a tenant meant to do if they face an emergency during a holiday break? They paid me back out of 'goodwill' when in this situation it is the law, so there's nothing good about it.
Outside of this, they've left us without a washing machine for a month, they take months to perform basic repairs we aren't liable for or able to do ourselves, they've stopped performing regular maintenance checks and don't seem to take inventory or check on properties at all - and yet throw around vague accusations about how we treat the property without even seeing it. I do not recommed Andrews at all.

Not even an apology for wasting our time or letting us know the property had been taken (which we found out for ourselves) So, thanks for nothing and now we know who to avoid in the future! I'd honestly compare these guys to Zedd Lettings based on competency...

(They'd only been there a month, I don't even know how they did that much damage!)
Put the tenant first rather than representing her (which she is paying them for as she can't get to the property any more and relies on the income from it). Literally doing the opposite of their job.
Attached are some images of the mould and food stuffs left in the drawers that Andrews deem acceptable and ready for a new tenant.

Absolutely Awful
I cannot state just how dissatisfied by Andrews services I have been. As per most of the reviews, in the initial period where they were taking your money they were very helpful, but beyond that it has been shocking.
Charging at every opportunity even just to extend the tenancy. The rest was increased from £525 to £565 whilst I was in the property. Upon leaving, the property was put back on for £545. This genuinely felt insulting that they would re-let the property for less.
Then when it came to moving out there was a £90 charge for the privilege. They have then charged me £80 for cleaning the kitchen appliances. A dispute will be raised on this as the check in report and check out reports will clearly show that they were no worse, most probably better, than when I moved in.
It is 9 weeks since I moved out and I have STILL not received my deposit back. I have been on the phone and have been informed that there will be at least another week, maybe two, until I receive my deposit back. 10-11 weeks to get a deposit back when you have just bought your first house!?
All I can say is I would never use Andrews again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

We have used this estate agents two years in a row to source 3 and 4 bed properties. Unfortunately we left it very late to find a property on both occasions and the staff in this office we're fantastic. Very friendly staff who make the whole process so simple and explain everything exceptionally well. There is no question you are scared to ask; no matter how stupid you may feel it is. I spent the majority of a day visiting all of the estate agents in Bristol and this was the only one who made me feel welcome from the very first minute I walked through the door. 5/5 for staff. 5/5 for property. 5/5 for price AND the agency fees are very very reasonable. Will definitely be using this branch in future when searching for properties.

There were occasions when they didn't seem to know that there were issues with rent payment but these were few and far between. Our main complaint were the fees - overall they seem a bit high. However, the inspection fees and what you got for your money was very poor.
However our "manager", Julie Robbins, has been outstanding and dealt with everything efficiently and fairly. I would recommend her to anyone.

We have had a house let by Andrews since this summer. The staff have, on the whole, been very professional and have been very clear with what we need to do. Since the tenants have moved in we have had no issues and seem as though they have settled in well. We did have a couple of blips where messages were not passed on, but these were quickly resolved and dealt with by the agents. We have yet to go through any tenancy changes so I cannot comment here but from initially coming round, to setting up contracts and tenants moving in the service has been quick and professional.

Up until a moment ago when an email arrived in my inbox from Andrews inviting some customer feedback on this website, I was going to remain a disgruntled but quiet customer. However, as I have a spare ten minutes I'll take this opportunity to leave a negative review. It is true that people only leave feedback when they have an axe to grind - may I also point out that this is not something I've ever done before - I let a lot go and prefer to get on with things when people let me down, but I've literally never had such bad service from an agent. They have completely ignored me and this has led to me wanting to post this review.
We had one good year letting with Andrews, and now one terrible year which has convinced us not to use them again. There happened to be a three month gap between finding tenants and the tenancy start date and in that time they basically lost all touch with the prospective tenants until a week before the start date, throwing everything into chaos. No apology for their mistakes has ever been forthcoming. When I needed their help that week, it wasn't offered. When I signed a contract it was not honoured. When I asked them to account for their mistakes my email was ignored, by the lettings manager and then by the branch manager (it is the only email I have ever sent to the branch manager).
For this service they've taken close to three grand in fees - three grand!
All I have to say is If you are a landlord looking for an agent who represents you properly and puts your needs before their profit margins - do not use Andrews on Gloucester Road.
Where email has failed as means of communication, with a bit of luck I may get a response to this review!

My present tenants have only been in the flat for a week but my overall impression of them already has been very good. So I am happy with the way my tenants were interviewed and recommended to me. Abbie was very helpful in providing contact details for various contractors when I urgently needed them to upgrade my property before my new tenants moved in. Consequently I have managed to get these upgrades done by reliable and professional people. So I am happy about that as well.
