I am so upset about the way that they treat the clients. First, I book a view and they call me 15 minutes before to cancel, as I was already on my way to go to the meeting point.
Second, I call to a agent and she just treat me so badly, screaming at me and was very abusive in everything. I am the client in here and I have to be humiliated by someone?!
They don't treat you with respect and seriously. I don't have anything of bad experiences with them.

Marsh and Parsons are able to game many review sites by only allowing happy tenants from leaving a review through the likes of Feefo.
They are wolves in sheep's clothing who have absolutely no care for the comfort, service or support of the tenants.
We were told to cough up 1,000 on a Wednesday after our viewing as a 'holding deposit' which is fair enough. This is supposed to cover a prospective tenant for 15 days.
Marsh and Parons told us the NEXT DAY that they would continue to do viewing regardless of the holding deposit and if we don't pay the entire 6 weeks + deposit within one. day then it would be given to someone else. A disgrace.
A year later of paying rent on time, we give our notice 10 WEEKS before we are due to leave and Marsh and Parsons immediately start viewing with less than 24 hours notice and arguing on this topic when legally viewing can only start 8 weeks before the tenant is due to leave.
They are a predatory service that are heavily landlord focussed. Do not use this service if you are a prospective tenant.

Please, please avoid these agents. They are professional liars and have discriminated against my elderly disabled mother repeatedly. They have absolutely no issue with allowing the landlord to break the contract, but god forbid should it be the tenant and then they want to get involved when it suits them. Biased towards the landlord completely. When you try to complain they just shout over you, talk to you like dirt on their shoe, or put the phone down on you. No legally required repairs get done in time (they manage the property - if you can, I highly advise getting the landlord to manage directly, then you don't have to deal with these horrible people), we've had mice infestations and we've had to end up doing the repairs ourselves as we just get ignored. Be prepared to contact the council and have to go through them to actually get anywhere - they will enact a war of attrition by ignoring you until you just get tired and exhausted from having to chase constantly. The staff are incredibly rude, dishonest and have a complete lack of knowledge - most are too young to even know what they're talking about, but egos are high. This agent has brought us to tears and the constant excuse you hear from them is "well that's London for you". An absolute disgrace. How this agent is still allowed to operate is beyond me. Just look at their other reviews on here - I'm not the only one!

They charged me 12 months high fees they have to return 5 months commission as tenant does not pay.

Please Note: Avoid Marsh & Parsons letting agency altogether. I dealt with Kensington Branch, very rude and unprofessional. My tenant was disgusted by them as well. Worse than the above is M & P. 105 Moore Park Road, SW6. They did not check references properly, took no photo ID, allowed a cat, told me tenant was an English man, instead dozens of Romanians who stopped paying rent after a few months. They dumped my furniture in storage on the 2nd day moving in after I had done the Inventory, they rang me to say they could not pay any more for storage and I had to get rid of my furniture quickly as had no where to take it. Marsh and Parsons are unprofessional, do not care, dishonest, inexperienced and I had to force them to give me the deposit to register and fee for inventory. Manageress Georgie is very rude, when I complained she hanged up on me twice. Their tenants turned my flat into squalid. I have to pay the mortgage back, end of term to the Lender, cannot sell with the squatters there. I am really depressed, unable to work and I am going to lose my flat due to negligence of this agency. I am seeking legal action against them. My friend dealt with them too and took them to court and won. PLEASE DO NOT GO NEAR THIS AGENCY, BIG LIARS.

Having rented in London for close to 16-years, and having worked with a wide range of agents --- I have to say Marsh and Parsons take the prize as the absolute worst agents I have ever come across. From the moment that I put an offer in (and was encouraged to make it higher to compete with a fictional better offer - which mysteriously flaked when they accepted my offer £100pds per week lower). To the two-year never-ending hell with my current landlord who refuses to acknowledge any repair requests, even for dangerous safety issues (and I have 3 small children). The office manager had the audacity to say it was a "hot market" and basically a thinly veiled threat that I could be put on notice after pressing for repairs. *

Service provided by this agency is awful.
It took us more than two months to have our deposit returned and tens of calls. This is unacceptable. We were first told NOHING about it, after several calls we finally had someone to talk to who told us to deal directly with the landlord. After dealing with him we still have not heard back from the agency, the landlord confirmed he had released the deposit and told us to deal with the agency. Once again after several calls they told us that they had not heard back from the landlord.
Even once the situation was sorted they did not rpay attention to our emails and ask us bank details we had send the day before.
We are still waiting for our deposit to be refund.
They are unprofessional and I would never recommend them.

What agent could do to change your mind?

Found damp and mould problem on the first day moved in to the privately rented flat. No information was provided during 2 minutes viewing. Not helpful negotiating withe landlord, was led to sign an aassured shorthold tenancy agreement with no break clause plus some unfair terms. Have written a complaint to the head office but have not received any response. Not satisfied with the quality of the flat as the rent is very expensive and the agency service. Would like refund on all fees charged and help in termination of contract

By far the worst experience I've ever had with an agency! Unhelpful, incompetent and obstructive are the three words I would use to sum up the members of staff I have been dealing with. Three weeks after informing M&P I had found a new tenant to move into the property I am currently vacating...and we're still no further down the line! The new tenant replacing me is now having to pay for a hotel until she can move into the flat. Completely unprofessional - I seriously advise you don't make the same mistake as we did!

Having come into the real estate market firstly in mid 2011 and finally securing our first London property in September 2012 I can safely say that we would not have got to the outcome we wanted were it not for the high level of professionalism shown by the team at Marsh and Parsons, specifically Ben Toocram and Ben Gee.
I would like to think that our comments come as qualified considering the length of time it took us to secure our first property and the sheer number of agents we dealt with across London during this time. This included a large range of independent and big brand agents. In terms of professionalism, experience, knowledge, communication, honesty and the ability to get things done - the key things you need in an agent - Marsh and Parsons ranked above all other agents we dealt with in this period.
As working professionals, the issue we found that the spread of agents in London especially in the big brands is that they are generally quite junior and do not have the level of expertise and understanding of doing business in an ethical and professional way. Everything from the basics - i.e providing good insight into properties, owners, areas, potential to fundamentals such as communication, following up (calls and emails) and ensuring that your interests are accounted for creating a level of trust between yourself and the agent.
In our opinion Marsh and Parsons were the only ones that delivered on this and would not hesitate in recommending them.

Due to my total satisfaction I have now asked them to let the property for me and within 24 hours of deciding to do so they had completed all the necessary paperwork and released the property onto the market. If only others were this good.

Nightmare from the get go. As soon as we had an offer accepted the corner cutting began. Clearly only concerned about the landlord relationship - not with the tenant. From the tenant side we kept up communication of faults to do with the property - these were often ignored or dealt with several weeks later. This included having no hot water for half the month of January. Also provided us with meter readings in an inventory at the start of the tenancy which were for the wrong meter (locked in a shared cupboard) then advised it wasnt there fault but that of a third party. Not worth the hassle dealing with this lot - incompetence personified.

Awful Company. It's a well known fact that Estate Agents are scum of the earth, but this company is by far the worst that I have ever dealt with. Since the start of our tenancy we have been passed from pillar to post and have had to deal with 5 different people. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
