I have just sold my property through Goodfellows estate agent and received a 1st class service. My agent who dealt with my sale was Ellie Darby & without her this sale would never have happened. The most impressive part of her service was her determination to help & support me during a very difficult negotiation & sale. Both the buyer & their solicitor were slow & extremely difficult throughout the process. Ellie was on the ball every day chasing all aspects of the sale that needed doing. Ellie not only kept me posted on all aspects of the sale but also kept my solicitor involved & up to date. I was very close to giving up on this sale due to the lack of response from the buyer & his solicitor but Ellie kept being pro active & made it happen. I would recommend Ellie & Goodfellows to anyone for the excellent service they gave me & most of all for Ellie’s professional approach & tenacity.

Selling a home is highly important landmark in anyone's life, and recognised as also being one of the most stressful.
When my sister, and only close relative was suddenly and severely injured overnight, in hospital, I found I had to sell her home and needed sympathetic help and guidance.
I met a few agents but I chose Goodfellows as I was impressed at the knowledge and information presented to me as well as the empathy helping me with those initial difficult steps.
The team have been unfailingly helpful when I changed my mind over a minor matter. My apprehensiveness in this dark situation was erased by being able to ask for their help and reassurance. I could not fault their service and was so glad i had chosen them.
They managed to attract and show many viewers over the property, it was almost hard to choose a buyer, but I got excellent help and advice re this and the best price outcome we could have hoped for.
I would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone.

When I first met Sam, the fact that she loved my Dad's house as much as I did, knowing all the original features and history of the area, was very comforting for me in the first instance. She was very professional, approachable and knowledgeable throughout the selling process, and kept me up to date with every step until the sale went through. This office know their area and clientele extremely well, as the first open day was packed with prospective buyers all day, with many on stand by, and the house had several offers at the close of the first viewing day. Everyone in the Stoncot office were friendly, helpful and extremely professionally, and nothing was too much effort for them to put my mind at ease and keep me informed - I never felt that I was a burden to any of them with the questions that I asked and conversations that we had. I am thankful that I chose Goodfellows to sell my Dads house and would not hesitate to use them again should I need to sell another property. On a personal note, their kindness and understanding at such a sad time for me, along with their gentle guidance, advice and support throughout this process made all the difference - I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

We recently closed the sale on our property in Sutton thanks to Rosie Bolt and Omar Shosanya of Goodfellows at Stonecot Hill office.
When we first met Rosie to discuss how she would go about selling our property she laid out a plan with time lines to set expectations. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and left us with a positive feeling. Rosie and Omar's communications and interactions with us were always helpful, respectful, prompt and professional. Rosie's initial valuation of our property was realistic compared to several other Estate Agents we considere for our business. Our property sold quickly and for more than the asking price.
We asked Rosie for suggestions on who we could use for the legal process as we had no recent experience selling a house. She offered Premier Property Lawyers in Leicester as an option. Unfortunately, we selected them which was a mistake. This law firm was extremely poor. They were slow or non-responsive to simple questions and generally rude in their communications with us. While this was not Rosie's fault it did leave us with a sour taste in what was otherwise a perfect experience Goodfellows.
We highly recommend Rosie and Omar and will have no hesitation in using them again if we have property to sell in the same area.

Complaints Procedure
Goodfellows is a member of The Property Ombudsman Scheme (TPOS) and we aim to provide the highest standards of service to all our customers. To ensure that your interests are safeguarded we have the following complaints procedure in place.
The aim of this process is to resolve all customer issues or concerns as quickly as possible. In the majority of cases we hope that any issues can be resolved quickly and amicably to customers\' satisfaction at branch level.
Stage One - Branch Manager
Complaints should, in the first instance, be directed to the Manager of the estate agency branch you have been dealing with. They will endeavour to liaise with you quickly and resolve your complaint immediately, no later than 5 working days from first notification.
Stage Two - Director
Should the local manager not be able to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you can refer the matter to the Sales or Lettings Director at head office. Once received your letter will be acknowledged within 3 working days and you will receive a response within 15 working days from receipt of your letter.
Stage Three - Managing Director
If, after you have dealt with the division director, you remain dissatisfied you may address your concerns, in writing, to the Managing Director. Once received your letter will be acknowledged within 3 working days and you will receive a response within 15 working days from receipt of your letter.

Stage Four - The Property Ombudsman
If you still remain dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint after dealing with the Directors, and once you have received a Final Viewpoint letter from the Managing Director, you may approach the Property Ombudsman.

- The Property Ombudsman will not consider your complaint until our internal complaints procedure has been exhausted and you have received our Final Viewpoint letter.
- The Property Ombudsman recommends paying any outstanding fees on a \"without prejudice\" basis to avoid late-payment charges and\/or further action.
Please be aware that a complaint cannot be sent direct to the Ombudsman without first following the internal complaints procedure.
