I have used the services John Mellor's Estate Agents 4 times over recent years both to buy and sell property.
On the first 3 occasions transactions went through seamlessly and very quickly with minimum involvement for all concerned although Mellor's acted with total professionalism,courtesy and efficiency at all times.
The last transaction, completed today was far more problematic taking a year to complete with a couple of false start along the way. It is under such circumstances that the true colours of an organisation show themselves and John Mellor and his colleagues especially Nick Taylor revealed a perseverance and commitment to client service that was flawless.
E mails,responded to immediately. Viewings conducted speedily with immediate feedback and an unrelenting concern to get the job done. I have no hesitation in recommending this Agency to any prospective client. The local focus and friendliness of staff is also an added bonus making them a pleasure to work with.

My contact there was Wendy, who it seemed went out of her way to help me and as a single first-time buyer, I needed my hand held throughout the process. Questions and queries were responded to/ resolved without delay and I experienced a more personal service, in contrast to another local estate agents (also beginning with J). Thanks a million.

Myself & my wife bought a house over the summer through John Mellor, Heaton Moor. They showed us around the house that we were then able to buy quickly. Their integrity, honesty and prompt work were very appreciated. Their answers to our questions were reliable & honest. They had a "can do" attitude about any subsequent visits we wished to make to the property after offer being accepted. They kept us informed regularly by email and phone of any developments. They gave us confidence that the house sale was in good hands. They also dealt excellently with out solicitors.
Prior to encountering Wendy & Nick in May 2022, our house search had been quite difficult, emotionally draining and full of false hope. Wendy & Nick wiped this away with their refreshing and very much appreciated dose of honesty & humanity - thank you

I used John Mellor to sell a retirement apartment in Heaton Moor that belonged to my late mother. I was aware of their extensive local knowledge which was the main reason that I selected them. What I was not aware of was the superb service that they offered and I can not recommend them too highly. The all round service was excellent but special regard must go to Wendy Ravenscroft, the Sales Manager who went the extra mile, and then some, to secure the sale.

I can't thank John Mellor enough for their amazing service!!! From the first viewing through to the day we got our keys the process was seamless and the support was incredible. They kept me informed throughout the sale and were always on hand to help with any questions. They also helped me to negotiate with the seller regarding our move date helping us to save a significant amount of money on stamp duty. The whole team were brilliant, so friendly but I'd like to call out John himself especially as he was the person who worked with us directly, he was totally brilliant!! I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. Thank you!

Everyone at JohnMellor is so professional and efficient. I dealt with Nick primarily although everyone got involved in keeping me up to date. Couldn’t have had better service. Highly recommend. I used this agency to sell my house and was really pleased with the service. I was well consulted during the marketing phase and Nick made sure I was happy with the pictures. There was no hard sell which I liked. An offer was made on the first day of viewings for the full asking price - Nick’s valuation was spot on. The process was really smooth and the team were a pleasure to deal with. Particular mention goes to Wendy who kept me informed throughout and chased anything necessary. I would definitely use this agency again.

We were dreading the administration of our house move, but John Mellor were excellent and made it a totally painless experience, despite our original buyer pulling out. They had us immediately back on the market, viewings arranged, and the house sold 'again' within three days which saved the entire chain. We has also been told that we would need to keep calling the estate agent to keep things moving - We did not experience this at all and found John Mellors to be efficient, professional, dealing with everything promptly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you John, Nick, and Wendy for all your help throughout.
