We had a very positive experience of selling our house with Max and Kathryn Hodgson. They're highly responsive, supportive, efficient, and were always on the ball with chasing and contacting solicitors and other EAs. Their advice on negotiating when we were buying our onward purchase was invaluable. And Kathryn really went above and beyond when things got complicated towards the end of our sale. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

We received first class service and support from Maxwell Hodgson Estate Agents throughout the buying process. Kathryn was always cheerful and positive. Our move was a 'long-distance' move, from Berkshire, which made visits difficult. However, Kathryn was proactive in checking the status of the chain, keeping us informed at every step and in finding ways of moving things along. Maxwell Hodgson should be celebrated for their outstanding customer service. We have moved house nine times and have never before experienced this quality of support and communication. Moving house can be such a stressful experience, but Kathryn and Max went over and beyond to ensure both ourselves and our buyer were always in the loop and were proactive in ensuring the process was as smooth and professional as it could be. We chose Maxwell Hodgson because of the service they gave us as buyers in the previous move and we have not been disappointed. We would never consider using a different estate agent in the future and we cannot recommend them enough to anyone reading this review. No other estate agent comes close.

Kathryn has been truly AMAZING!
Following divorce our family home had been on the market for quite some time, after falling through due to issues around Covid, I was very stressed and upset. Kathryn was so supportive and lovely throughout the whole process. She remained calm and positive, always chasing feedback from viewers, and recommending our property. When our house did sell the sale did take quite some time due to Christmas and the pandemic but she always pushed for answers either side of the chain and made things happen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kathryn & Max, they're a truly lovely team who know their stuff. I'm not going to rush through this process again anytime soon but if I do I will absolutely be using Maxwell Hodgson. Professional, kind, understanding, proactive, committed, leaders in their field.
