After meeting Caroline for 5 minutes, I felt like she knew exactly what we wanted from a property. She mentioned she had just got the keys of a flat that would be perfect for us and it was! We had seen a lot of flats with a lot of agents, many of them seemingly just wanting to get us on viewings no matter how unsuitable the flat was, so this was so refreshing. She was great in helping us get our offer accepted. We are first time buyers so didn't really know what to expect but she helped with the whole process. She was always clear and responsive on how everything was going which was very reassuring.

We had been on the market with another estate agents for about 4 months and despite many viewings had only got one offer which was way below our asking price. A neighbour who had just sold his flat a few doors down recommended Caroline at Northfields and we didn't look back. She had our flat on the market with them straight away and within three weeks and multiple viewings we had accepted an offer. The people she was bringing round were much more suited to our flat and we felt much more positive about the experience. Unfortunately due to structural problems with our flat the sale took a lot longer than we hoped but Caroline and Alejandro were always at the end of the phone ready to answer any questions we had and chased anything that needed chasing, be it from solicitors, our buyer or surveyors. Even down to ensure the exchange happened before our solicitor went away for a few days, Caroline drove around getting everyone to sign the relevant papers and we got the sale through. We highly recommend Northfields.

I have had great service from Northfields in the past 7 years they have managed my property, but especially so in the past year when a series of incidents, including a flood from the flat above befell my property. Living in Scotland I could not view or fix any of these myself and for the flood insurance claims and cooperation from neighbours were needed. Northfields, especially Abbie and Charmaine, went above and beyond what I would expect from the estate agency. Coordinating with the builders, communicating with neighbours and insurance, visiting the propoerty and advising on the changes and actions needed. I relied on their advice on the best course of action for the circumstances which saved me hours or research and provided peace of mind. They are proactive, clear in their communication and advice and a pleasure to work with. Thankfully my flat is fixed and filled , due almost entirely to the efforts of Abbie, Charmaine and the Northfields team.

Knowing the area and property well Caroline suggested she may have people interested, I was sceptical. Within 4 days she had an interested buyer, within 2 weeks she got me an offer, fractionally below asking. I have just completed and couldn’t be happy. Caroline has a huge amount of experience in the area and is able to match the right buyer with the right property, she guided me and the buyer through the process which was smooth and I couldn’t recommend Caroline highly enough, the whole team at Northfields Askew Rd are a joy to work with.

With regards to Northfields Shepherd's Bush, I was a tenant for a year, and my entire year of letting with them was an absolute nightmare.
It started with an agent named * who never conveyed my requests to the Landlord (for various items), and I had to spend the first two months of my tenancy negotiating directly with the landlord on this issue. * did not provide sufficient information on the property and told me I even had access to the gardens when I did not. He neglected to say that my flat's window was side by side with the next flat's window and there was so much noise that completely ruined my stay. There was even no mention that the walls and celling were so thin that I could hear the neighbour's phone buzz!
When I asked him to convey a couple of issues to the landlord for me, he refused and was adamant that I spoke to the landlord myself. He did not even provide the contact number or email of the landlord and I had to do all the research myself. The most ironic part was that he even asked me to leave a splendid review for him on Google!! Which comes back to the fact that I am sure that many people's review of Northfields is based on the agent asking them to leave a good review for them, instead of allowing them to place an honest review themselves.
A year steadily went by and my next issue was with the Manager of Northfields Shepherd's Bush, **. I dealt with her briefly at the start of my tenancy and she was very difficult to say the least. She was rude and constantly dismissive when I would call the office. There was absolutely zero customer care, other than making sure that she 'sealed the deal' for the next tenant.
Towards the end of my tenancy, she tried to insist on me paying more for circumstances which I did not cause (this is true, trust me as she finally admitted fault after months of negotiations). Even their accounts manager tried to sell me short of my deposit, until I did the proper calculations myself and she admitted that she 'made a mistake'.
Overall, for anyone (landlord/tenant) wanting to deal with Northfields, don't bother. Even my landlord (who was absolutely amazing by the way), stated that she wished Northfields dealt with the negotiations better and was more 'on it'.
In case it wasn't clear, I personally will never be using Northfields again purely on my experience with the Shepherd's Bush office. I sincerely hope they can clean up their act for future tenants.
