We have noticed since renting through Philip Alexander that their staff turn over is extremely high and there is no communication in the team. Since renting through them for just over a year we have had several different points of contacts and information gets lost along the way. I also suspect that their under staffed for their workload as they always seem to busy to take a phone call..

The service I received from Rob and Miles at Philip Alexander in the sale of my property has been excellent from start to finish. Mainly they were responsive, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. This helped make what is a stressful process much easier. I selected Philip Alexander after seeing many positive reviews and can now see this was well deserved - I would highly recommend them.

We bought our flat in 2015 through PhilipAlexander and from the word go they were super professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They have since helped us rent out our flat, and then sell it. With zero experience in anything house-y they were always on hand to help out and answer questions. With buying/renting/selling being quite a stressful process to us novices alongside doing our own jobs, they were extremely patient with us! Philip Alexander's team has been the best from the beginning of my tenancy til the very end!
During my 2 years as a tenant, they were always very helpful and kind, including making utilities services providers information available to me right away since I had never lived in the UK before.
And by the time I was moving out, I had some personal issues and needed to postpone my moving out date and they were so helpful and understanding - everything ran smoothly., from arranging viewing times with me in advance and handling the security deposit.
I have dealt with different estate agencies later on and I can say that PA is outstanding in all aspects. Rest assured that their team will follow up with you throughout the whole term of your contract. I would also like to register here my special gratitude to Kalina, my direct Property Manager, whom was always patient and helpful any time I needed. I definitely recommend Philip Alexander and its whole teams of agents if you're looking to rent or buy property in London.

I engaged Philip Alexander to sell a flat which ion the face of it should have been , once a buyer was found, reasonably straightforward. The buyer who was from overseas and unfamiliar with the sale processes in England made the process more complex than needed , but with Rob's support and effort helped with the solicitor to drive the process forward, give comfort to the buyer and deal with any questions and where necessary pushed back where requests were unreasonable. Rob acted in a courteous and professional manner and was responsive to my requests.

Once they take your money, they will forget about you. They are unprofessional and very aggressive.
Save yourselves the headache and find another agent.
My landlords details have been withheld from me and they refuse to pass my landlords number to me.

Even though the process did not go as smoothly as first hoped (prospective buyer pulled out days before completion) Phil maintained a positive and professional attitude, working hard to recover the situation and ultimately achieving a good result.

Comments (0)We had a few agents before a friend recommended Phillip Alexander. From the beginning they were different . Top marks in all areas of selling. Very professional,caring,helpful. Very on the ball. Nothing was to much for them always at the end of the phone to speak with. It has been a crazy mad emotional period for us whom without Phil, Ally & several other members of the team would have been much more difficult they were truly amazing. We would highly recommend them. Top of there game. We cannot thank you enough.

Phil and Ally were brilliant in the sale of my flat. The whole administrative process to market the property was seamless and they quickly secured a buyer. We had some difficulties with the onward purchase but they were proactive at managing communications between myself and the buyer and assisted with advice and expertise about how to manage everything. Can't thank them enough for all their hard work and patience and would definitely use them again if moving.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
