We are a Sales and Lettings estate agent but we like to do things
a little differently. We are transparent and open. Selling and Letting homes shouldn\'t be shrouded in mystery and full of fear for vendors and landlords, we help by being by the side of our clients throughout the process. The vast majority of tran
sactions fall through for very minor reasons that some agents and solicitors do not always overcome. We believe the true work starts the day that an offer is accepted.
Of course the marketing of property is also very important and as well as the traditional methods and on-line portals, we a constantly reviewing new and innovative methods of marketing. We are committed to training and qualifying our colleagues to give the very best service to our clients. Absolutely faultless! From start to finish, the service received from George the Lettings Manger, has been superb. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept in regular contact throughout the whole process and advised me on pretty much everything. His professional and knowledgable attitude is a credit to the business and is highly recommend Harvey Scott to anyone looking for the perfect property

However, the staff were getting the cleaners to do their property surveys during their final clean, which I believe was part of a fraudulent operation that lead to half the team being sacked.

Corrupt staff/mouldy properties aside - the level of customer service throughout my tenure has been nothing short of terrible and I have wasted so much time and energy chasing them. Very quick to contact me to tell about a a fee they've forgotten to tell me about, or a bogus claim about energy bills from a difficult landlord - but never there when I'm trying to get someone to help me a with a house that was putting my young children' health at risk or literally destroying my belongings daily with black mould! George (who has been a shining light) seems to be the only person working or capable or reply. When he emails to say 'I'm on holiday but I'll pass this to my colleague' - you know that is the same as saying 'you'll have to wait until i get back' as I'm sure the names he mentions as his cover don't exist.
Life is hard enough for tenants. Choose a different letting agent.

I agreed to be guarantor for my daughter when she let her property. Excellent experience with Harvey Scott from the very start. Rented a fabulous property via Harvey Scott, so unique and desirable, price was spot on. Was a tenant for just over 3 years and there were, on occasion, issues with equipment (fridge and washer). Within days of raising an issue, agreement was reached with the owner to replace the items and just so professional, proactive. Couldn't have been happier with the interactions had with the letting agent. Periodic inspections were undertaken without issue. Would highly recommend.
