Used these for many years, never disappointed. Living in London and usually working against the clock, i have little time for day to day dramas. During 2020, my rents have been received on time, little to none repairs and basically an agent that "just gets on with it". I wish the same could be said for here in the city. I have managed my own properties for many years, but past few years it seems to becoming harder to collect rent and deal with endless maintenance issues. Thornton robson were used by my brother in law for many years.
Things became desperate when tenants sub let to their friends, long story short. Rent stopped and unknown squatters where living in my property.
I was embarrassed things had come to this, and with work stress, really didn't need this.
Fast forward - Claire has been a gem, rent received on time month on month. Happy Landlord

Dad recently passed, and he insisted that his house was sold through Tracy.
He had sold and purchased twice through her over the years and would not consider going anywhere else. In fact she is now considered the families Estate Agent. She sold Dads house while probate was being granted.
Explained everything, helped with the will paperwork, the conveyancing forms, spent hours helping the family . I'm sure she wont mind me adding, you can certainly tell she has over 30 years experience of property, conveyancing and probate experience. We will be forever grateful Tracy. We are buying our first Investment property and will be leaving her to manage for us. Thank you dear, The Cooper Family xx

They managed what the others had failed to and got us plenty of viewings and an eventual result. We have always been treated with respect and consideration from both Tracy and Lauren. Any job dealing with the public is a challenge and staying positive and cheerful must be difficult.

We were with another agent who had bought out our original lettings agency but were unhappy with level of service despite communication as repairs etc were not being completed promptly despite our permission to do. We visited the office and were extremely impressed by the professional yet friendly/human attitude by all staff. We explained about the lack of repair and our concern that other repairs may have not have been completed. We were concerned that the tenant (long term) may begin to feel that we were not the caring landlords that we considered ourselves to be. Tracy listened and heard our concerns and offered her services. Sam took us forward in terms of sorting paperwork and communicating efficiently with us. As a result I am assured that due to the ethos of Thornton Robson that our tenant experiences the professional human approach that we wanted to convey. Thank you.

since taking over from Ian, Brodie has kept me updated with any information and new deals, she is always very polite and friendly too. i like using Thorton Robson Estate agents as they are really approachable and have always given me value for money.

Lastly the fee which they charged was very competitive, and I would have no hesitation in using Thornton Robson again.
