Paul and Patrick Murray at Winkworth, Summertown, have sold two properties for me, one in 2004 and one in 2012; I also bought a house through them. At all times, they have been exceptional in all dealings, with buying and selling. They are honest and keep you "in the frame" throughout the process. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Unlike several other agents in Oxford with whom I corresponded from overseas, Patrick was prompt in his replies, answered fully and on two or three occasions went out of his way to accommodate nervous potential buyers trying to buy unseen. Unlike several other agents in Oxford with whom I corresponded from overseas, Patrick was prompt in his replies, answered fully and on two or three occasions went out of his way to accommodate nervous potential buyers trying to buy unseen. I might add that unlike other agents, Winkworths provided numerous digital images on the web site illustrating every part of the house. When requested, Patrick returned and add a score more of specific features.

We put our property on the market with Winkworth Oxford mainly because Paul Murray gave us a very honest and realistic appraisal of the marketplace, and of our cottage. We put our property on the market with Winkworth Oxford mainly because Paul Murray gave us a very honest and realistic appraisal of the marketplace, and of our cottage. We also really liked all the staff we met during our initial chat in the office, which is important when you are permitting access to your own home. I was heavily pregnant with my third child at the time, and Paul and the team really did their utmost to minimise the pressure on me at a very stressful time. They conducted two "open houses", getting as many prospective purchaserd through the door at one time and were very helpful in relaying useful feedback to us, both positive and negative. In the end, they achieved an asking price sale for us, and we were able to move into our new home before our son was born! I cannot recommend the Oxford Winkworth team highly enough.

Our purchase through Winkworth felt so easy... it took 6 weeks from viewing to moving in and throughout that time, our agent was always available to answer our questions and provide a friendly and sensitive service. I'm sure there was lots of work going on behind the scenes (pushing the solicitors in the right direction), but to us it just felt like the easiest transition in the world! I really appreciated the "little touches" - the welcome gesture as we moved in, the fact that the "sold" sign was removed quickly... None of my friends can actually believe how quick and easy the supposed " nightmare" of buying a house has been for us.
