First of all I did arrange a viewing and been asked to anticipate the appointment 15 minutes earlier, then the agent, Alex, showed up 20 minutes late. The agent refused to let us know the flexibility of the landlord regarding the rent unless we paid the deposit, due to the agency's policies, without specifying the amount (incomplete information and miscommunication). The agent insisted and told us to hurry up sending the deposit and we did. We also spoke with another agent from the agency and she was rude with my friend. The day after we waited for an update but did not receive anything from them. The following day, in the afternoon, I called them to ask for news and been told that the landlord did not want to proceed anymore with the agency and that he was going ahead privately (we later noticed that the property ad online stated "let agreed"), therefore we did ask for the refund of the deposit and the agent said he would have send an email for my request immediately. He did not send anything and I had to email him and request the refund. He replied almost at closing time asking for my bank details in order to pass them to their accounts department and I have asked to be provided immediately with a proof of the refund, either a screenshot or some form of receipt. No one has replied to that and my follow-up email since that moment. I have then called them and been told that the agent was not in the office and that he would have replied as soon as possible. He replied in the evening saying that accounts cannot provide proof of the refund, therefore I just have to wait and not know if they have done it or if they will do it in a couple of weeks. Obviously they make pressure in order to receive money, however, they are really slow and barely interested when it comes to proceed with refunds. Overall my experience was terrible: lack of information, miscommunication, rude attitude, lack of interest in client's needs and still I am waiting for my money to be refunded. I will not only avoid contacting them again but will also tell my story to all of my friends and co-workers.

She patiently and empathetically listened to all my concerns, and managed all the different parties involved (previously I had been discussing the problems with 3-4 different people), and took complete control of the situation and resolved them all in as fast as possible.
I still don't have working hot water or heating (5 weeks in the flat now), but that definitely is out of the control of Keatons.

I have recently moved into a property managed by Keatons and have had a great experience so far. Shani was very helpful and prompt with replying to my emails throughout the whole process. I found the whole process quite smooth and they kept me updated with regards to the referencing etc. They have also been very efficient with any maintenance issues. Mr Carpenter who deals with any issues with maintenance is very prompt with his responses and checks back to see if they are sorted out. I have had much better experience with Keatons then I have had with other bigger property management agency and I would recommend them to friends and family

We've been looking in the Stratford and Forest Gate area, and Will has taken me on a few viewings and got to know exactly what we are looking for. <p>If you have a complaint about the service you have received from Keatons, you should put your concerns in writing to the departmental manager.</p>
<p>The grievance will be acknowledged within 3 working days and then investigated and replied to within 15 days.</p>
<p>If you remain dissatisfied with the result of the internal investigation, please email <a href="mailto:headoffice@keatons.com">headoffice@keatons.com</a>. You will receive an acknowledgment email and your complaint will be reviewed.</p>
<p>A full investigation will take place and a letter will be sent confirming our final view point within 21 days of the acknowledgement letter.</p>
<p>In the unlikely event that you remain dissatisfied with the final view point of your complaint, you can write to The Property Ombudsman within six months from the date of our final letter, they will review your complaint and advise of their decision. <a href="http://www.tpos.co.uk">www.tpos.co.uk</a></p>
