Lettings is a big success for JNP. We opened a dedicated office in High Wycombe in 2001 and haven’t looked back. Although we ended up securing a different property, from start to finish Lloyd was nothing short of the optimum estate agent. Our experience with other firms had been mixed but Lloyd served a refreshing reminder as to how much talent there is in the industry. From regular updates, a high level of organisation and above all a really clear and professional approach; Lloyd is an asset within JNP and I would definitely go back to him for any future property needs.

I could write a very long review sharing with you the catalogue of incompetence we experienced as tenants in a property managed by JNP. However, I can summarise this & save you the agony of reading it all by saying this.
Avoid JNP like the plague if you are a tenant or a landlord.
All you need to know is that during our tenancy they showed an unprofessional bias towards our landlord. Even to the point that when it came to returning our deposit they supported him in his questionable claims to massive deductions against us.
We went through the arbitration process - still with JNP acting on behalf of the landlord and 5 months later we finally have all of what was rightly ours reimbursed to us.

I wish there was an option of no stars. JNP were a dreadful estate agent from start to finish when dealing with the rental of our property. They caused numerous issues with our tenants by saying incorrect information. In my opinion they lied several times. We eventually changed from managed to rent collecting only and then we had no issues with our tenants. JNP are rude and unhelpful plus they charge a fee for using their tradesmen which I understood was illegal. One chap called Ben even put the phone down on me when I wanted to make a complaint!

I recently dealt with JNP (the lettings side) in High Wycombe and was fortunate enough to have Trefton Joyce deal with the matters in hand. I found Trefton to be utterly professional and sympathetic to the issues which had arisen in this instance.
I can't comment on the other agents within the business because Trefton dealt with everything himself, however if they are in any way as professional as Trefton I would have no hesitation in using JNP again and moreover recommending them to friends and family.

Moving home couldn't have been easier thanks to JNP in high Wycombe. They were very helpful & very quick at sorting everything out. The staff are super friendly & professional, Megan has delivered an outstanding service & has helped our move go smoothly, Sebastian is a great property manager we had an issue with the boiler & he managed to get it sorted the next day. Very happy with the service provided. The check in inventory done by a company hired by JNP were very thorough & also excellent customer service, I feel protected as a tenant knowing how well the inventory was done.

Good afternoon
I am very frustrated by the lack of communication with JNP I understand I am not your only tenant and you guys are busy but I called in 3 times yesterday and twice the day before and each time promised a call back to inform me what is happening but I received NOTHING!
I work 9am until 5.30pm 5 days a week so finding the time myself to contact you guys is very hard so to not even get a courtesy call or a quick email to let me know this is in hand when I've been calling in leaving messages with urgency is not acceptable!
I have been awaiting my tenancy agreement as well as Shane ( my new housemate ) since Friday not just me but Chris ( named on contract currently ) is desperate to get this all resolved!!.
We have both paid our referencing fees ( even though i should not have had to of paid for one)
This is the last time I'm going to try make contact with you guys if I do not hear anything I will be wanting to make an official complaint for poor service.

Last week, I have arranged to view properties in the morning but received a voicemail to inform me that they couldn't gain access to the properties and they were not what we are looking for. I managed to call back to enquire what the agent meant and they have said we can still go view the properties but they won't be there, the tenants will show us around. We then arranged to see the properties the week after and just like last week, we received a phone call roughly an hour before our appointments to let us know that it is cancelled, the places have gone. who knows.. maybe it was coincidence or just laziness.

On the whole, I've had no problem with Estate Agents.
Primarily they serve their clients through renting or selling property.
I do so wish that they could reciprocate this attitude to customers using their service.
Is there anything worse than being strung along by an agent wishing to bait a deal?
Surely, if you have the means to pay, are not a criminal, are in employment and have excellent references, do you really need to wait a whole week before they tell you that they received another offer?
An unprofessional performance coupled with amateur Landlords, leads to a waste of time for all concerned.
Perhaps I'm being a little naïve, but I've found it's actually easier to buy a property in Britain rather than rent one.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The staff are far from honerable in their dealings and go back on their word. They seen to have no quarms about manipulating the seller for a quick sale.

I put my flat up for sale with JNP High Wycombe as I wanted to buy a new build in Hazlemere which JNP Hazlemere was dealing with, so I thought it would be benificial to deal with just one agency. They soon found a new buyer and came back with a quite frankly insulting first offer. Then the offer was upped a bit but still not enough, the seller also wanted me to move out in mid March and take rental at my expence so she could save on stamp duty, well this did not happen. I finally got a half decent offer but the buyer wanted me to move out before I was ready, I told JNP that I would need to pay for storage and short term rental and the agent agreed over the phone that a deal on these expences could be reached so I moved out and organised storage. A while later the agent contacted me and I asked about my expences and he denied any such agreement and said I had moved out and incurred costs of my own violition. Please dont make the mistake I did think twice before using the High Wycombe branch.
