Extremely unprofessional agency who try to scam you out of your money at any opportunity.

On several occasions (i.e. discussing rent recalculations when asking to switch the rent payment day) they have miscalculated (in a way that would mean they receive more money) sums, claiming "our system calculated it wrong" when confronted with calculation inconsistencies after I calculated them myself.

When moving out, I was told my account had an outstanding sum due to missed rent payments months beforehand (there weren't any), and when provided with proof of all payments, they said it was a mistake on the email.

When informed about a rent increase, I asked them to double check if the additional sum each month is also something their "system" generated, just to make sure everything's in order, and got a reply stating how other properties in the area are going for much higher prices and that the landlord demanded a higher increase, and that the agency, in fact, advised the landlord that a lower sum would be more reasonable, which was difficult to believe.

When attempting to receive my deposit back, they demanded that a deduction of 23% was to be made for the removal of an item from the premises originally not on the inventory, whereas the Glasgow City Council would have charged 1.2% of the total deposit sum for said item.

Other things include: waiting over 6 months for a replacement of a broken fridge/freezer with extremely inconsistent correspondence (and receiving an appliance half of the size of the original when they did get round to it), told to "go to Asda" when asked if a small, broken kitchen appliance could possibly be replaced by them, and receiving absolutely no reply when providing them with details of a new flatmate that had moved in with me, so that they could make their deposit and officiate the paperwork/have a proof of address.

Additionally, I just personally found it very rude and frustrating having to correct them in the spelling of my name or clarifying what my previous emails were telling them, as it felt like with every email I was speaking to a different person that's just as clueless as the first (not to mention, with very sloppy and unprofessional email writing style), on the matters being discussed, and as if nobody in their office actually corresponds to one another.

Excellent. You’d expect tenants to leave poor reviews in certain circumstances so for me the proper judge of an agent is the reviews left by landlords, of which I am one. I have now passed my full portfolio of properties to DAH. Smashing fast service from all the girls, they are switched on and quick to deal with anything / everything. Also seem to find me good tenants in comparison with other agents. So, if you have flats to rent out, go ahead and give them a call.

Stay away from them.
First of all, they make you pay for the things that no other agency charges you. They require you to do your own referencing (£30+), before you sign the contract. They also make you pay (£25) for the Landlord reference when you need it for your next flat.
Secondly, they are very responsive and accommodating before you move into the flat and sign the contract, however as soon as you are in all communication stops and you will have to fight to actually get some attention. It took me about two weeks of constant chasing up and calls to fix the most basic issues with the flat, such as not working blinds etc. After living in the flat for several months, some issues were still not resolved
I couldn't get them to fix my boiler and the main door too
They charged me 1/3 of my deposit taking £45 for cleaning, even though I left the flat in exactly the same state as it was when I moved in (apart from some small damages to the wall due to corridor being tiny.

I am a landlord and have been with dialahome for just over 5 years now, they offered a tailormade service to suit my needs and had that personal touch which I've never had before with other agencies. They are always on hand to help with any issues and always ensure my flat is well looked after. No complaints whatsoever

Complete fly by night company who underhandedly do everything to make sure that your deposit is not returned. We had 3 separate house viewings at the end of our tenancy and on each occasion they commented on how well we had kept the place. Once the keys were handed back they then advised that they had to keep £150 for cleaning fees?? After a lengthy appeal, the SDS scheme ruled in our favor, however the whole process was a rigmarole. I will never use this company again and wholeheartedly advise people to stay clear from these crooks."
