Chose Main and Main following excellent service from former branch manager when we first had house valued and considered selling. Unfortunately by the time we made the decision to move she had left. Communication was very poor and computer notes never reflected the discussions held. Viewers failed to materialise, emails and phone messages went unanswered. Limited opening hours compared to competitors and the final insult was receiving a contract for an unconnected third party addressed to me at my home address which contained financial information and their correct address. A massive data breach which was reported to Main and Main but they failed to acknowledge or advise what to do with the information incorrectly disclosed. Three days after the contract ended they were still marketing the property and had to be reminded to remove it from the market. In hindsight extremely grateful they did not sell the property as can only imagine how badly they would have handled the process.

From my very first tentative enquiry to Main & Main I was impressed by their professionalism and experience. Mr Main explained my options very clearly, along with cost implications, and was even knowledgeable about the history of the property I had to sell. As I got closer to putting the property on the market, the whole team supported me at every stage, making sure nothing got missed.
Viewings were well organised and I was kept informed of progress and feedback. Communication was excellent - I mainly dealt with Kate, but if she wasn't there, anyone else was able to fill in perfectly. As the sale progressed, I was given regular updates, and Kate liaised brilliantly with both my and the buyer’s solicitor to ensure that things moved on.
Covid-19 meant that we barely met, but Kate’s friendliness and encouragement shone through phone and email and gave me confidence throughout.
All the advice and support I received were spot-on, and I am very grateful.

Having just lost my mum and having to go through her loss and selling her property I was a mess, hardest thing I have ever done and these beautiful, wonderful people were there every step of the way for me. They held my hand from start to finish, hugged me when I needed it, and just looked after me, my mums property and helped me with any contacts and instruction I needed. They are truly a god send and I do not regret choosing this company for 1 minute XXX
