STAY CLEAR! I used them prior to them changing the name from Browns & Co UK. My tenant credit check shown he was only earning 16k and they signed him up regardless for my property with rent of 550 per month. Needless to say he couldnt afford . I can't issue a S21 as Browns didn't supply the correct paperwork. They won't take my calls. One time my rent was late because the company director was on holiday.
The list is endless. STAY AWAY. I am pursuing this with my Attorny and issuing a formal complaint. I have asked them a number of times who the are registered with under the redress scheme but they won't respond. So doing our own investigation

Useless company, does not answer phone calls or returns calls, this is most likely a scam, do not give any money over, I have made over 100 in 3 weeks and not got through to anyone who actually works at browns and co, only ever get through to a outsourced call centre

We found Tony a pleasant, easy going, reliable, well organised and honest person to deal with. I loved the way he accompanied the potential tenants for viewing. He was also very good following up with the viewers and communicating back to us. As a land lord, we always want to be kept informed about what is happening and Tony spent time and effort to make sure we got that. I highly recommend Tony and Browns & Co Property Ltd to landlords and potential tenants.

From our first meeting Karl has been professional and offered good advice. Of particular note has been the prompt and accurate information and updates on progress via calls, texts and emails. Correspondence requiring signatures has been via an electronic system which has is a safe, secure and speedy process.
