Viewing the property was only possible due to the current tenants flexibility and willingness to show us around; the agents had no available time and proposed a viewing 2 weeks from when we requested. It took 3 days for the contract to be signed due to the number of errors on the contracts they sent through to us, only to experience a similar issue with the deposit security form; which had to be returned to them 4 times due to differing errors on each copy. It would have also been beneficial for them to provide full details of the items they required rather than requesting additional items on an ongoing basis. I wouldn't recommend them, and would warn anyone renting through them to check all their documentation with a fine tooth comb to ensure there are no errors.

When chrissie was on holiday Brian looked after us brilliantly ensuring we were comfortable with progress and providing regular updates etc. Any hurdles were smoothed out by Brian just as we needed them to be. Such a gent and doesn't allow his clients to get taken for a fool!!
A genuine and caring team. Would recommend!!!!

I rented my property through Davis Tate for 10 years. I chose the company initially because they were the agent we bought the house through several years before, and because they have a local office. Throughout the 10 years there have been a relatively large number of tenants, and a larger number of maintenance issues to be resolved. Overall, Davis Tate has done a great job, but of course you should expect some things to fall through the cracks. Over the 10 years, there has been lots of different people working with my property, and sometimes frustrating that there is more than one person, and in different offices, dealing with me at the same time. There were also disputes at the end of every check-out about whether damage had been caused by the most recent or previous tenants. At the end of the day though, I have moved back into the house and can say that it has been very well cared for and anything that isn't the same can be attributed to fair wear and tear. For the last year or so our main point of contact was Sarah Newman. During this last year Sarah was always responsive and attentive, and dealt with a need to replace patio doors, extractor fans and leaky radiators as examples. I will certainly come back to Davis Tate again if I need to let or sell my house in the future.

Christian was absolutely brilliant from day one , very helpful, responsive and went out of his way to process the offer on the property I thought could be “home” to my fame for few years! Super service from start to finish! When I viewed the property with Christian he was professional, courteous and well informed about the property.
As we were under time pressure to attain a house and move in, I was extremely impressed and relieved when Christian contacted me when he was out sick to update me on proceedings.
Christian helped us throughout the process and always promptly responded to our queries and kept us updated through the process.
Couldn’t recommend him more highly!
