Paul was amazing when finding the house but as soon as we became tenants in september we discovered problems and due to the complete lack of organisation within Capital there has been an utter neglect of us and our issues, we have had to wait months and months to sort urgent issues, only sorted if we go into the agents office almost every day and bombard them with emails. So disappointed and upset with them and would not recommend.

As an 84 yr old widow, moving house was a very daunting experience. However, the professional and friendly help given by Paul, Adam and Lisa made the whole process as stress free as possible. Paul was amazing and we knew we were in good hands. Paul and Nicole worked so hard and believe me it was no easy task as the chain broke at the bottom and they got our house sold again quickly and kept us informed of everything.

Rob Tancred, the managing director and Jack's father , carried out the valuation on my property. After a thorough check of the property and Rob explaining to me the procedure, I was confident that Capital were the right estate agents to use, as he ensured me that him and his team would help me through every step of the way. This is exactly what I needed, as this was the first time I was selling my property.

It is seldom I would take the time to write a review, however due to outstanding service, I found that this was a necessity. I came across Capital serendipitously after my friend recommended them to me; I called Capital for a valuation and after a friendly phone call to Jack Tancred, they visited me within 24 hours. Rob Tancred, the managing director and Jack's father , carried out the valuation on my property. After a thorough check of the property and Rob explaining to me the procedure, I was confident that Capital were the right estate agents to use, as he ensured me that him and his team would help me through every step of the way. This is exactly what I needed, as this was the first time I was selling my property.
A day later and the team had already been round for listings, photos and the floor-plan etc. Within 48 hours of me asking for a valuation, my property was already on the market. I was overwhelmed as to how quickly and efficiently they had put the property up. My house had only been up for a few hours, and already viewing requests were flooding in; I was amazed as to how quickly people were wanting to view the property. Due to such great interest, Jack decided to hold an open day on the Saturday, where he was accompanied by Rob. The two men arrived, dressed astute, with a welcoming smile on their faces. They had gone the extra mile by preparing a brochure of my house, including a range of details: nearest train station, local schools and what to do if the viewers wished to put in an offer. The viewing was a fantastic success and from the 6 viewings, we received 4 offers.
Jack rang me up on the Monday and explained the different offers, as well as the situation of all the people who had put offers in- giving his opinion on what to do. I found their advice exceedingly valuable; again, being my first time selling, I wasn't quite sure what to accept. The offer I had chosen required me to find another property at some haste because the new buyers were needing a quick move. To my surprise, I found a property to rent, which was listed by the Capital Bromley office! After the great service I was receiving from the Sidcup office, I knew that I was in safe hands. The procedures were carried out quickly and efficiently, with someone always ready at the phone to answer my questions. Out of kindness, Capital paid to clean my new apartment so that it was spotless for when I moved in.
I could not recommend Capital enough; the team made an experience, which I thought would be stressful and daunting, a quick, relaxed process. Everyone who dealt with me were genuine, honest people who have an ethos to put the customer first. Thank you so much for helping me out with this process and I will be most definitely be using you guys in the future!!!

Have had 2 bad experiences with Capital now.
Unfortunately we bought our first property through Capital, when we viewed we were booked in with the Sidcup branch, it was so popular that the property was double booked with viewings all day. On the day the manager of their Bromley branch at the time came down and starting inviting in passers by off the street! very frustrating as we had been booking viewings for some time.
The same manager proceeded to tell us that although the property was up for the listed price "let's be honest it going to go 30/40K over that, so you should put a good offer in" it was so off putting that we nearly didn't put an offer in at all! Also I'm pretty sure that breaches some kind of regulation...
The sale went through fine but was delayed and we had to do a lot of chasing.
When we bought our next property we were gutted to see that the house we fell in love with was being sold by Capital, we had no choice but to buy through them again. We were shown round by a 6th form student who just kept telling us there were good schools close by. They questioned why we weren't selling through them as they recognized that we bought with them prior... I'm surprised it needed explanation.
We were misinformed about the chain on the property, by the time finally found out the reality (7 onward properties) we lost our buyers. Capital never actually gave us this information, our estate agents bypassed them and went to the next in the chain. This was a common theme of the whole process, bypassing Capital to get what was needed.
Due to all the delays and miscommunication the sale fell through and we had to start the process again.
The Sidcup staff are very friendly however this doesn't make up for the poor service. The Bromley manager at the time was incredibly unprofessional and I would be embarrassed if I knew someone selling my property was talking to potential buyers in that way.
