Absolutely disgusting treatment of tenants would not give deposit back charged £100 for gardening maintenance !! Bed bug infestations endless problems and then charged 650 cleaning bill because of the general state of the property which was constructural and actually down to the landlord to maintain. Reporting to trading standards not even worth one star would avoid

Genuinely the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with.
I cannot tell if they are incompetent or duplicitous. Probably both.
They change rules at the last minute that seem to make no sense. Don't trust them with anything - they lost our inventory, they used to let people into our house when we weren't there without notice. They told us we needed a guarantor (and so took �200 off us), then when it failed, they said we didn't need it as our salaries were high enough. Obviously, this charge was not refundable though.
When I left, it took me 2 months to get my �900 deposit back, even though the inventory had been completed. They lied and said they had sent me my cheque twice; I know they lied because when I finally I received the 'new one' they had sent, it was dated weeks before.
They will charge you to do pretty much anything. When our contract came to an end, they said that for my flatmate to continue with the property although changing two of the tenants names, there would be an extra cost of �300 per person. This is in addition to the ~�200 reference/guarantor charges, so they wanted to charge them more than they would someone 'off the street', but without actually doing any of the adverting, showing around etc.
Avoid Cannon Kallar at all costs, I hated having to deal with them. They are just terrible at their jobs.

Genuinely the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. I cannot tell if they are incompetent or duplicitous. Probably both. They change rules at the last minute that seem to make no sense. Don't trust them with anything - they lost our inventory, they used to let people into our house when we weren't there without notice. They told us we needed a guarantor (and so took �200 off us), then when it failed, they said we didn't need it as our salaries were high enough. Obviously, this charge was not refundable though. Sales 2015
CK were highly professional and gave good advice throughout the sales process. They took excellent photographs, marketed the property well and helpfully followed the process through to completion. One of their strengths is their local knowledge.
Rental Managing Agents
CK managed my property for about five years. They were great: managing the rental process, finding a decent tenant and being on hand for day to day issues. It made it a painless process for me.

Excellent service. I sold my property through Cannon Kallar and from the initial valuation through to exchange I found the agency to be efficient, hard working, knowledgable and friendly. I dealt primarily with Nathan Matthews, Tom Pemberton and Jason Cannon, all of whom were always happy to help and did the upmost they could to ensure the sale went through as smoothly as possible. The process was subject to a number of delays and I was kept informed and updated at all times and felt everything possible was being done by the agents. I found the overall approach of the company to be non-aggressive, objective, very knowledge and charming. I would happily recommend Cannon Kallar.

I purchased a 3 bed ex local house in Deptford from Cannon Kallar and dealt with Claire Saunders in the agency's sales team. Claire was professional, polite and diligent in every step of the process. Once I purchased the property, after extensive refurbishment I then rented the property out with Cannon Kallar through their Lettings department. Bronagh and Sarah in particular were absolutely amazing in not only getting me a great rental return but like Claire were professional from start to finish. I will certainly recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again in the future.

The house and garden was full of rubbish left by the previous occupier / landlord despite being 'promised' that the house would be cleaned. It was clearly not. Hardly surprising that vermin were soon in evidence, which the letting agent / landlord then denied responsibility for.
We were then invoiced for cleaning the property despite leaving the property in a better condition that it was let to us in.
This is clearly a cowboy letting agency and should be avoided at all costs.
Stay well clear!!!

Most terrible estate agent! Made an appointment with them for viewing on Saturday 16:15 16/02/2013 but they never turned up. Called them and was told no appointment had been made, and also I was not allowed to make a new appointment but had to call back on ... Read Full Review

Most terrible estate agent!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
