We have been most impressed with the friendliness yet professionalism of the team at Scott Fraser's Headington office. We particularly appreciated the information they had on each property they showed us and as newcomers to Oxford and Headington benefited from the knowledge they had of the local area. We used Scott Fraser as estate agents for our property sale and onward purchase in Headington, Oxford. The whole team was outstanding, but special recognition goes to Catherine Dernie, who managed the smooth running of the whole process. Both our transactions involved a lot of unforeseen difficulties but Catherine was able to use her considerable interpersonal skills and industry knowledge to bring about a successful outcome. We were really impressed at how Scott Fraser proactively found solutions to every potential hold-up as they arose, a mark of a personal and professional organisation. We recommend Scott Fraser for your onward move without reservation.

My review is for all students and people who are renting from Scott Fraser. At the end of tenancy when you are required to leave the property as you found it. Try to have evidence of the standard and level cleaning you have done, if you are doing it yourself. It is very difficult to prove how well a property has been cleaned by photographs and it may well be your word against theirs. If you have cleaned thoroughly including cleaning carpets, you don't want to be charged for a deep clean by the estate agents.

We recently moved out of 12 Rock Edge. We had to terminate our contract prematurely. I cannot go into great details of issues but overall I would warn against renting this property via the current agents. The landlords take ages to repair issues, the house is old with low grade material used and needs high maintenance. Everything is falling apart and it is a pain to get it fixed. Please stay away especially if you have kids. We got deceived by the garden and thought it a good place to rent but regretted it and moved out as soon as we completed the initial contract. The agents are also the same as landlords. Pathetic experience!

The worst experience of my life with an Agency, Scott Fraser.
I was one of the tenants at 29 Peat Moors, Headington OX3 7HS.
My deposit was stolen, we gave in total 4000 pounds of deposit.
They said that there were spots on the wall which charged 40 pounds per spot, for general cleaning 500, cleaning sofa 60, etc ... everything was a lie.
It took 2 months to tell us that they agreed with the landlord to take 2,000 pounds of my deposit for things that were not true. They charged us for the âcheck outâ 200 pounds as well. The âcheck inâ only have 4 photos and the âcheck outâ plenty so it can't be compare.
It more than two month now, I didn't received the rest of the deposit.
I paid an agency that cheated me and did not help. I spoke with Luke Souch and Sophie Hawkings and took years to answer and they didn't help us.

Also the fees (and there are a lot of them) are extortionate. They make about 100% on absolutely everything, this includes reference fees (should cost £80, you're looking at about £200 with these guys)
Absolute jokers, save your time and effort... go to someone who actually wants your business.

From our initial meeting through to completion I was very impressed with the professionalism of all the team at Scott Fraser but with Jenny in particular. We do not live in Oxford so were selling our family home from afar and Jenny always made us feel secure that she had our best interests at heart. She kept us up to date with developments and always answered my queries, however small, quickly and efficiently. The initial valuation proved to be very close to what we achieved. Valuations from other agents we approached were considerably higher and a lot less realistic. Jenny liaised efficiently with the solicitors and other people involved in the sale. She went the extra mile arranging a surveyor's visit, reading the meters on completion and helping to organise a house clearance. Jenny did all she could to ensure the process of selling our home was as easy and stress free as possible. Whoever I spoke to at the office was helpful and friendly, and obviously all worked closely together as a team. I would have no hesitation in recommending Scott Fraser to market and sell a property.
