Renting: The fees are extortionate - the holding fee goes straight into the pockets of the agency and not towards your deposit by the way! I've paid closed to �400 in fees for them to get contract information wrong and give me a list the length of my arm of things to chase up on my own; such as getting tv and telephone lines fitted, finding out my door number from the council, getting bins, parking and even the electricity meters updated on the national grid. While the staff have been lovely and polite, there's obviously a lot missing from company procedures to ensure accommodation is 'move-in' ready.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Extortionate for the little service they provide. I can only hope the Landlord is also paying out the ear too so I'm not the only gullible on in this situation.

I recently let my house out with entwistle and green bolton.to say i was dissatisfied with the service is an understatement they are only interested in taking money off you no customer service skills whatsoever.They let you down all the time my tenant was late or didnt bother to pay each month but they didnt seem bothered at all i was paying them for a service . They told me they did a 3 month check but i had to ask time and time again which they eventually did and the photos that came back were of a very poor quality i reported they had a cat living there but nothing was done also there was 3 more people living there that were not suppose to be hence when they finally moved out my family home was left in a disgusting state and stunk of cat pee i asked for the deposit back to cober the cost of making my home habitable to be told i would have to wait 3 months as the tenant also owed me 2 months rent as well i found this very unfair they was just not interested avoid at all costs you might as well do it yourself as there is no help on there part at all i could go on and on about how poor there customer service is .

Very poor customer service, No point dealing specifically with this branch, they treat you like shit, even managers also doesn't know how to even talk to customers he was actually very rude to be honest, they don't turn up to their appointments and when you rebook last week they ring you back on the day of appointment where you arrange everything for yourselves and asking to either cancel it or book another one. And if you start arguing on that look i took my day off from work i am not going to waste my day like the other day you guys not turned up last time aswell then second thing they say ok do whatever you want and put the phone down straight on your face. Thats why their reviews going down and down and down. Sorry but i have to write the honest review. After having this experience i will not recommend this agent to anyone.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Extortionate for the little service they provide. I can only hope the Landlord is also paying out the ear too so I'm not the only gullible on in this situation.

We have been with these agents for the past 5 years. We have been constantly let down by them they are clearly only interested in helping the landlords. Recently our deposit of 12000 pounds has not been refunded because the landlord has claimed he has had to do so much to the property since we left.
This is ridiculous the property looked better on us leaving than when we moved in. Clearly they are not interested in anything we have said and 3 months down the line we still have no money and once more we found out from neighbours that the last previous 3 tenants never got their deposits back either.
