Two years ago exactly at this time of the year I had to move from London to Oxford.I didn't know anybody in herein Oxford and I was lonely and desperate to find a safe and proper place for me and my children . This is how I met Arianna for the first time.I travelled to Oxford to view a flat and I found her very nice, kind,patient and also professional . She did a fantastic job for me as a letting coordinator two years ago,and she has done a great job since she has moved to the head office.She sorts out all the issues very quickly and professionally.

Chris Carter in particular has always been very prompt to deal with queries and sort out problems, which when you are miles away and in a different time zone is extremely important. All the staff are very pleasant to deal with, quick to answer questions, and know their business well.

We have rented out 2 properties through Scott Fraser whilst living abroad during the past 10 years and they have always been extremely professional at managing and looking after our properties (which have been our family home in each case). Chris Carter in particular has always been very prompt to deal with queries and sort out problems, which when you are miles away and in a different time zone is extremely important. All the staff are very pleasant to deal with, quick to answer questions, and know their business well.
Our only criticism would be that we sometimes felt pushed by the lettings team to take on tenants, and that we had a couple of bad experiences with tenants who didn't pay the rent or left the house in a bad state. It's hard to apportion blame in these cases as the tenants looked ok on paper, but sometimes we felt it would have been better to leave the property empty a little longer and be a little picker about the tenants.

I have let my two Oxford properties via Scott Fraser, who helped me source them, since 1999. I have an HMO property which is subject to an ever increasing list of legislative requirements. Victoria Mellor at Scott Fraser has always kept on top of these and her expertise is impressive. She is also lovely to deal with. The property manager is Chris Carter who has looked after the house for with great attention to detail and excellent communication. They have been with Scott Fraser for many years and I really appreciate the continuity they offer. They really do go the extra mile.

Overall I've had a very good experience with all the agents in this branch. This review is for the neighborly Arianna Zandonella Necca, the Front of House Manager. She has made my stay here in Oxford pleasant and enjoyable. She is gracious enough to spend her personal time to help with tenant matters. While I was out of town I planned to have a friend look after my flat. Arianna ensured my friend's arrival and welcomed her into my flat, on a weekend, without compromising the security of the building. I'm very glad to have her office as my neighbor. I'm grateful for the hospitality.

On approaching them to rent, they were really friendly and helpful.
Once we signed the contract, it is hard to think how they could be less helpful. The house was FULL with faults, broken appliances and damp. If ever we asked for repairs, they would not reply to the requesting email for weeks, then eventually send a contractor after a significant time lapse, some even months later. The quickest they acted upon any request, was when they asked us to pay to get the issue sorted, then they would reimburse us...eventually...
On leaving the property, it took ages for them to help with the process. They deducted an extortionate amount from our deposit (£687) which included the most ridiculous of items e.g. £30 to remove an empty box (which was in the moving in inventory photographs), £120 to have windows cleaned (it was a 3 bedroom house).
It then took 2months to release what was left of the deposit!
All in all, I would rate them no stars (this review system seems to make one star compulsory, I couldn't get rid of it!)
