I honestly think that Ellis and Co, Cristina in particular, have been fantastic. It didn't matter what time or day, or even if she was off sick, Cristina would always respond to any enquiries immediately. I really hope we have the pleasure of working with them again.

From all the agencies I have rented with in London, Ellis & Co. ranks at the bottom. When we first saw the flat, we were told that a massive part of the terrace would be ours; after we moved in we started receiving nasty emails from Ellis & Co. asking us to clear the space (when I claimed that the agent confirmed this would be ours they told us this person was no longer working there).
Since the incident, we are the ones chasing them to fix issues, to send us the upcoming rent, etc. and their responses are always late and cold and we constantly need to chase them for it.
Really disappointed with this agency and we cannot wait for our contract to be over to move out and not deal with the most unprofessional staff in London.

Extortionate and unfair considering one of the bedrooms was unliveable. They also charge an \'exit fee\' of 180 quid which they try to justify, somehow.

I had the misfortune of dealing with Ellis and Co (Islington branch) when renting a flat in N1. Upon being shown around the flat, we were not informed of a pervasive damp issue in one of the bedrooms which rendered the room unliveable, which was on-going from day 1. The result was one of the tenants having to sleep in the living room for 6 months, and we were also ripped off with a £900 lettings agency fee for the privilege (£300 each between 3 tenants). Adam Shapiro (Ellis and Co Director) seemed to think it acceptable to charge all 3 tenants the fee, despite only 2 of the 3 bedrooms being habitable. Plus his ears were filthy. The fees are also extortionate considering the flat was unfurnished and no inventory was required. AVOID these cowboys at all cost.

The swiftness,friendliness and efficiency of the service provided to us has made the move everything they advertised it to be. Having dealt with 4 different letting agencies and 7 letting agents in the past 4 years with regards to my prior properties I can safely say that I would recommend the Essex Road Ellis and Co as they deliver on what they promise as well having someone in the office who genuinely is there whenever we need anything at all.

There has been excellent communication and any problems/queries have been resolved in good time. The company is well run and reliable and bonus points for the chocolates in the reception area!
We've rented a LOT of properties and haven't come across such a genuine, friendly and caring agent as Fatma before. She's an asset to the company.

I recently enquired about a property in Angel for my family. investigated and a full response sent to you within 15 working days.
If you feel the matter remains unresolved you need to address your complaint
