Main and Main became our managing agents just over a year ago. They have proved to be nothing more than lazy money squandering charlatans. No positive solutions have been made by them only animosity and escalated charges have been appropriated by them Please see attached letter outlining some of their cowboy practices Caveat emptor

I note your comments with great interest which have just come to my attention. As you are well aware we took over the management of the block on instruction from the Freeholder. At that point in time there was no monies in the management account for the development to pay their bills. Not even any insurance. We had to take immediate action to protect other residents. Looking at the accounts going forward with what was due to be paid out and there was no alternative but to increase the monthly management charge, which other residents were more than happy to pay. From day one we had to continually chase you for payment as this was nearly always late. A schedule of repairs were drawn up and programmed to be carried out over a period of time as and when funds were available. When the contractors came on site they walked off the job and refused to come back because of your attitude and abuse toward them. When we resigned our position because of your continual attitude the other residents were not at all happy and asked us to reconsider our position. We sent out voting slips to all owners asking them to clearly state their wishes, they all responded favourably, apart from yourself. You still continued to verbally abuse my staff who threatened to resign. Your ulterior motive, it would seem, was to manage the block yourself to which other residents were strongly against. Consequently your comments are totally out of order, totally untrue and without foundation. Finally all monies were held in a Client's account and audited by independent accountants in accordance with statutory regulations. Your comments are totally incorrect and deliberately destructive.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
