I am currently renting a property managed by this agency. I moved in a month and a half ago. I have never lived in the UK before, so I think that I have been and still being exploited to the maximum. There was a week's delay in my moving in date, which resulted in staying at hotels for almost a month from the time I arrived in the UK. Just before I signed the contract, I asked the agent if everything has been checked in the property and all the appliances are working properly. I received a yes, of course. So, I moved in, it was the filthiest apartment I have ever seen in my life, tried to clean as much as I could, but I didn't have water in the flat. Thankfully some neighbours helped me with this by showing me where the water valve was in the building. When I got in the apartment, I realised why the water was turned off: the over the bath shower was dripping constantly and the water was getting wasted, so every time I was not in the apartment I had to switch the water valve. My washing machine had a broken door handle and my fridge didn't work, it actually produced heat. The extraction fan worked for one time, then it short-circuited, so I've never turned it on again. Contact after contact, excuse after excuse, I am still in an apartment that i pay a LOT of money for nothing. I cannot cook and store my food, and that is terrible. I would seek advice to see if I can breach the agreement and move somewhere else. They don't care about the tenants.

However, we kept you fully up to date with viewings and feedback. Good Afternoon, please contact me on [email protected] - if you wish to discuss any of these issues further. We would of course expect the boiler to be working when you moved into a property. The gas safety certificate and boiler service (where applicable) are undertaken once a year. Unless reported otherwise by a tenant, we would assume that it is in working order - especially when a tenant has recently vacated. However, once a problem is flagged up to us we will attend to ...

The vendor has already spent £2000 to remedy the water ingress and will continue to tackle the problem - so to say you have been ignored is rather unfair. No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
